Ding, ding, ding! But look at what we have to deal with now:
Basically sums up journalism post 2009. Trust and never verify. MT @HotlineJosh First instinct is to trust what the WH is saying

That actually happened. As Twitchy readers know, when the news of a reported Obama administration cover-up broke, a politics editor for National Journal was utterly shocked that the White House is not to be trusted.
And then this happened too:
what I don't get is why the admin would bring someone with that baggage into a full-time position after all of that.
— Zeke Miller (@ZekeJMiller) October 9, 2014
You see, the aide at the heart of the hooker scandal, Jonathan Dach, is now a full-time employee at the State Department. Working on women’s issues. No, seriously.
Twitter users quickly schooled the TIME reporter.
@ZekeJMiller This administration, really?
— Charles Crooks (@CharlesCrooks) October 9, 2014
@conncarroll @CuffyMeh @ZekeJMiller A freaking mystery. How could this administration of all presidencies do that? Just crazy.
— Thomas H. Crown (@ThomasHCrown) October 9, 2014
Funny that. How curious!
@redsteeze it's almost as if they have zero fear of investigation from a fawning media. So weird!

@ZekeJMiller @blackandgold43 your faux ignorance is adorable
— Steven Shaw (@czechov) October 9, 2014
.@ZekeJMiller Maybe you could find a journalist somewhere who can look into these sorts of questions.
— S.M (@redsteeze) October 9, 2014
@ZekeJMiller LOL, why doesn't someone with integrity investigate?
— Mr E™ (@stockdemons) October 9, 2014
Zing!
This kind of insight is going to take Time from doctors's office to straight to the top, baby… @ZekeJMiller

silence RT @ZekeJMiller what I don't get is why the admin would bring someone with that baggage into a full-time position after all of that.
— Conn Carroll (@conncarroll) October 9, 2014
Two words: complicit media MT @ZekeJMiller what I don't get is why the admin would bring someone with that baggage into a full-time position
— Feminists' bêtenoire (@lamblock) October 9, 2014
Yep.
Katie Pavlich summed it all up:
Maybe because this is what they do with every scandal the press hasn't been covering @ZekeJMiller. This is the drill.
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) October 9, 2014
But, hey. “Real journalists,” guys.
