Do not provoke or ridicule Charles Murray demonstrators, Indiana University handout advises
If there’s anything more frightening to college students in 2017 than a Chick-fil-A Express in the student lounge, it’s a visit by Charles Murray, who wrote a whole bunch of stuff, but never mind that “The Bell Curve.”
Murray has been inspiring meltdowns on college campuses across the country this spring, most recently at Indiana University in Bloomington.
Friend at Indiana U reports there are cops with flak jackets and sniper rifles on roofs of buildings ahead of @charlesmurray talk there.

It'll take more than that to stop Charles. https://t.co/3oMZMoZ6HR

@JonahNRO Read this as @JonahNRO saying @charlesmurray could dodge sniper fire if necessary to deliver lecture. 10/10 would watch the movie version

@kmanguward @JonahNRO Me too.

An open letter with over 170 signatures was not enough to make the University break its silence on Charles Murray. https://t.co/VBxAYz4rUw

Wow, 170 signatures. And yet he persisted. Like other “controversial” speakers who have inspired college students and faculty members to look inward and conclude that free speech isn’t that important after all, Murray was met with hundreds of protesters who aren’t nearly as brilliant as they’ve been led to believe.
