Unexpected Priceless CHRISTMAS Gift! Ellie And Jared Christmas Special Part 2

(gentle Christmas music) (car horns honking) (kids chattering) – [Santa] Merry Christmas. Ho ho ho ho ho ho ho. (elves chattering) (factory bell buzzing) (door closing) (wind blowing) (train chugging) (train horn blowing) (skates scraping) – [Jackson] It’s Christmas day. – [Jared] It’s Christmas day. – [Jackson] It has come. – [Ellie] You’re the first to wake up. You went and snuck a peek.
– Yeah. – What’d you see?
– He had cookies. And I did not see the milk. – Ohhh.
– Where is the milk? – I don’t know,
– Maybe he drank it all. – [Ellie] Maybe he drank all of it. Was it fun to walk out there and see? – Were you excited?
– Yeah – Merry Christmas.
– Merry Christmas.

– [Ellie] (squealing softly)
I can’t wait to go out there. I hope Calvin wakes up soon. – Yeah, let’s wake him up. – [Ellie] Let me brush my teeth and then we’ll get him, okay? (gentle Christmas music) – [Ellie] Wait, you’ve got to do it soft. – Calvin, it’s Christmas. It’s Christmas Calvin. We’re gonna go open presents. (Ellie and Jared softly laughing) – [Jared] Good morning Calvin. Merry Christmas. – Do you wanna wake up for a minute, or do you want to go look? – [Jared] Let’s take a look. – He came. Guess what. – It’s a glowing ball one, it’s me! – More glows for you, more glow ball ones. What’s for me? – This looks like, this looks
like those are for Calvin. – What? – Look Calvin, you got
your marble run. – Let’s open one and try it. – Do you want to try it, Cal?
– Yeah. – We’re losing a lamb. Where is the lamb?
– Calvin, that’s so fun. – And Tommy got a choo-choo train. Look, mom!
– Mom, which present? – This is Tommy’s high chair!
– Mom? (soft Christmas music) – Put his feet on this.
(Ellie chuckles) – [Jared] I love how excited
you are for Tommy’s gifts.

That’s so fun that you’re excited for him. – Whoa, look what’s he got, look at this! – Did he bring you guys
stuff in your stockings? – [Jared] Whoa, you didn’t
even look at your stockings! – He did! What? (Calvin gasping)
What, look at this! – [Calvin] And this! – What’s this?
– Look at these! – This is my favorite slinky!
– And this, I got this! – [Jared] We’ll have to run
those down the stairs, Jackson.

– [Jackson] Look at this. – [Ellie] Should we help you open it? – [Calvin] Yep. – [Jared] Do you know what that’s for? – What? – [Jared] You try and
catch it in the hole. – [Jackson] Whoa, that’s
the biggest marble. – [Jared] Oh my gosh,
that is such a big marble. Will that fit in your marble run? – [Ellie] Might not. (laughing) (bright Christmas music) – [Jared] Merry Christmas. – What’d you say about Santa? – [Jared] Did you say he’s sneaky? – Yeah I did.
– And thanks. – And I got this. I got this, it’s for Tommy doll. (Jared chuckling) – Is that for Tommy Doll? – Yeah. – What do I get? Bath bomber, look at this one. – [Ellie] Wow. It might have toys in it. – Merry Christmas. – [Jared] Merry Christmas Tommy. Hi Bud.
– Merry Christmas! – You guys, do you want
to get him his stocking? – Yeah. – He’s doing well.
(Tommy giggles) – [Ellie] Look, he sits up a little. (Jackson giggling)
– Socks. – [Ellie] I think you
boys are ready to start opening presents. – [Jackson] Yeah, I’m gonna
open my big one first.

I go trick or treating, I get more toys. (Ellie laughing) and I love Halloween, I get more candy. (Jared and Ellie laughing) – Okay, boys, why don’t
you grab one present, and then come over here, and
we can all open them together. (paper crunching) – Don’t have over him, Jack. – What’d you get, what’d you get? What’d you get? – What, what is–
– Looks like it’s a fanny bag. – He got a shark town.
– You put your treasures in. – How cool is that!
– Do you want me to put it on you? It’s like a book bag, but for the front, for your little treasures. – Can we–
– So as you’re walking around the house, if you want to put your quarters in there, you can. (paper rustling and tearing) – Look!
– Mom, can you get.

– I got a basketball hoop! I got a basketball hoop. – Oh my gosh. Here, let me lift it for you. – I wonder if it came with a basketball. – Well it has to. – What do you think? – Well yeah.
(fists punching) – Oh my (chuckling). – Owww.
(fists punching) – Owww.
(Ellie chuckling) – Jackson, I think you’re so excited! – I am, Merry Christmas! – I can’t believe you
got a basketball hoop. Tools!
– Tools? For a dog? – How cute, you can take them apart and put them together, Calvin. – Buds. – Oh, I got basketball clothes. – Oh. – Holy cow, I’m gonna
put them on right now. – [Together] Okay. – I am so glad Santa brought
Jackson basketball stuff. – Oh my gosh.
– He’s on cloud nine. – He is so excited. – And he’s only opened two gifts, so. – Uh-huh. Well, and my favorite thing is, like, – [Ellie] See what you do with this tool. – This is the first present,
– and you screw it in. – Or the second present
that Calvin has opened. And that’s all he wants
to play with right now.

He doesn’t want to do anything else other than play with the
thing that he just opened, which I think is just so sweet. – He shared his cat with him and gave the bad one to him. (Ellie and Jared laughing) – [Jared] Yeah, you eat
that kitty (laughing). Introducing, number two, Jackson – [Jared and Ellie] Mecham! – Whoo!
– Basketball extraordinaire! – Here, come and let me see you. – [Jared] What do you
think, do you like ’em? – Yeah, I love them. – [Ellie] Whoa! – [Jared] Whoa! – [Ellie] Woo hoo! – [Jared] Let’s put
those sweatbands back on.

– [Jared] What– – I found a dog for my bedroom. – [Jared] You found a
dog for your bedroom? Good. – He wants his cousins.
– Yeah. – His cousins are his dogs.
– That’s right! – And–
– And Penny. – [Calvin] Yeah.
(Jared laughing) – [Jared] You are just the
sweetest little guy, Calvin. How did we get so lucky
to have such sweet boys? Oh my gosh! Watch out, Stephen Curry! Watch out King James, LeBron! Jack attack is comin’ atcha! He might be short. He might be more in the
tier of Muggsy Bogues, but guess what, he’s coming. He’ll go right under
your legs, huh (laughs) – Okay, I think we’re
gonna take a breather and I want to feed Tommy. – [Jared] Do you like your new
bed and toy Penny (laughing)? (dog toy squeaking) She has not got off this,
– She loves that.

– [Jared] and we haven’t
even told her to get on it. (Jared chuckling)
(dog toy squeaking) Merry Christmas Penny! – [Ellie] Yeah, her just laying there. – [Jared] I know! (dog toy squeaking rapidly) (Jared laughing) Are you gonna help him open it, Calvin? – Me too. (paper tearing) – Baby chair. – Did he get another high chair? – But it looks like, portable on the go. – Yahoo, let’s set it up! – That means, we can have
him sit when we go places. – When we go camping. – [Jared] Look, it even has its own little cool carrying case. – He loves it!
(Jared laughing) Oh Tommy, (Calvin
giggling) you look so cute. Look at that! – [Jared] Tommy, look
at your little chair! – [Ellie] We’re gonna go camping. – [Calvin] Please can I open
this, please can I open this? – We’ll go sit at the
beach in this, the beach. – [Jackson] But he’ll get super hot. – [Jared] Oh. – He’ll get super hot. – [Jared] We’ll have to change his clothes into something warmer. – [Ellie] Look how cute he is in there. – On your mark, get set, go! (soft Christmas music) (paper tearing) – What do I get? – Some of the learning stuff.

– [Jared] That’s so cool. – Can we open another?
(dog toy squeaking) – I want Daddy to open one.
(dog toy squeaking) – Oh, daddy’s going to get one to open? Oh my goodness! (dog toy squeaking) – [Ellie] So Tommy wants
the trash bag, typical. You play with the wrapping. – [Jackson] Open this, open this. – [Ellie] Merry Christmas. – Thank you.
– I hope you love them. – Should I open the top or the bottom one? – [Ellie] Top’s great. – What is that that you got? – Whoa. (dog toy squeaking) – [Jackson] Dad look, you can put this on. – [Ellie] Scoot over a little hun. – Whoa! Shut your mouth right now! – [Ellie] Is that gonna be too small? – No it’s awesome.
– It’s small. – If it’s too small–
– Well it’s adjustable. – Okay.
– It’s adjustable. – [Ellie] I forgot you have
a larger head, hi Penn. – Tesla designed desk hub– – [Ellie] I just thought it looked cute. – One you should open. – Is this a Tesla hoodie?
(dog toy squeaking) Hahahahaha. – [Ellie] I don’t know why I have two, maybe they’re different, or I accidentally ordered two.

– Or one for me and one for you. – [Ellie] Yeah. – [Jackson] One for me and one for you. – Ellie, this is awesome. – [Ellie] Love you. – If you guys didn’t know, I have a Tesla, and I like the Tesla style,
so, thanks, Ellie. – [Ellie] You’re very welcome. – Okay, I’m gonna open this one now. (dog toy squeaking) – What is that? – Whoa! Holy crap, Ellie, this
is like a winter jacket. – [Jackson] But a Tesla one. – Are you freaking kidding me? – Merry Christmas.
– Merry Christmas. – I didn’t even know they made this stuff. – I got an ice cream, that–
– Oh, these are t-shirts? – Uh-huh.
– Look! – The cases are amazing! – I know, we’re keeping the cases. – Yeah. – I love it, Jared! It looks good! – Can I open–
– Does it fit? – Yeah.
– Or is it too small? – No, I think it’s great. What do you think?
– I love it! – Dad, you look awesome!
– Thanks, bud.

– And you have a zip pocket.
– Yeah. What do you think? – [Ellie] You look so good. – This is awesome, I love
the hoodies too, thank you. – Okay, should we have
Mommy opened a present? – [Ellie] Let’s have Tommy open another. – Okay. Are you guys helping
Tommy opened his present. – Yeah. – [Jared] What is it? – Hmm? – [Jared] A teething toy set,
because he’s getting teeth! – Well I think we should
give it to him now, ’cause I don’t want him swallowing– – [Jared] (laughing) any
more wrapping paper, yeah. Merry Christmas Tommy Boy (chuckling). Look at the variety of
fruits you have to chew on! Do you want to try this one? – I wanna try it.
– Does Calvin wanna try it? – [Calvin] I wanna try it.

– Argh – Look at him, he loves it,
Merry Christmas my baby! He’s smiling. – [Jared] Yeah. Alright, let’s find a
gift for Mommy to open. There’s a certain order
I want to do this in. You had me open two, so I’m
gonna have you open two. – Oh, okay. – [Jared] Oh, you went right for the bigger one first, I see. – Save the small, smaller
presents best for last. Yes! (Jared laughing)
– Mom, let me look! – Now you have to teach me how to use it. Jared, thank you.
– You’re so welcome. What is it? – Somehow you connect your phone with it, and you can print pictures out. – [Jared] Yep, that’s exactly right. – And it just looks easy and there are several things
I want to do around here. – [Jared] Mm mm, so, what do
you think is in the other one? – Ink, all the stuff to go with it! – [Jared] Maybe, I don’t know, open it up and find out, hahaha! – I bet it’s paper for this.

Ah, yes, 20 sheets, so I
can get 20 pictures of you! – Or maybe 19 of you, and one
of me, ’cause I hope mom likes me a little bit.
– Oh, yeah, yeah, yayaya. – Let’s go! (soft Christmas music) – Yo-yo. – [Jared] Whoa, Jackson, hold on, that isn’t just any yo-yo. Look at it. Do you see that?
– Yeah. – What does that say?
– Jackson. – And, Merry Christmas, 2018. – And this is an elevator in the home. – Whoa.
– Whoa, I’m gonna try it. – Okay, try it. Oh, it’s a long one, okay,
let me wind it up for ya.

It’s a hedgehog! (laughing) – [Ellie] Do you wanna open it? – Yeah, let’s open it, should we open it? – Yeah. – There’s an elevator! – It’s soft! – There’s a hedgehog in our house! Whose is that? – It’s not real, and it can’t talk. – [Jared] Oh, is it not
real, and it can’t talk. Is that its home right there, Calvin? – [Calvin] Yeah. – [Jared] Oh my gosh,
it’s home has a slide! Can you send the hedgehog down the slide? – Yeah, with an elevator.

– [Jared] With an elevator! – [Calvin] And he walks in the elevator. And the hedgehog wants to be in his cage. – Whoa, how cool! Calvin, would you like
to open another present? – Yeah. – Okay, grab one. Ready, set, go! (paper tearing) – Look what I got.
– Whoa, a skate park? – For the hedgehog! – [Jared] (laughing) I guess
the hedgehog could use it too. (paper tearing)
(laughing) – I got the, look! Look, Transformer ABC’s! – What are transformer ABCs? – Whoo, what will you get? – I don’t know.

– Something. – A baby.
– A toy. – [Ellie] Calvin, do you like him? What should we name him? – Um, Tommy Joe. – Tommy Joe.
– Tommy Joe junior. (paper tearing) – [Ellie] What. – [Jared] What is that? – [Ellie] It’s a gigantic puzzle. Can we build it today? – Jackson, that’s taller than you are. – It is? – How much taller than me? – It’s five feet tall. – Can we build the rocketship puzzle? – [Ellie] Tommy is so happy. – [Jared] Tommy is so happy, isn’t he? Are you lovin’ that stuff down there buddy? All the boys are lovin’ their stuff. This is the funniest thing. Jackson loves opening
every present and seeing what’s inside. Calvin is so content with
the things that he has. Do you want to open another present? – No. – No, he wants, he wants to
just play with what he has. How sweet is that?
– I’m opening another! – Okay, go grab another one. – Play with that!
– Nice! Oh, change your mind? (laughing) – Look at my muscles! – [Jared] Yeah, look at your muscles! That’s a big one.

– I got a box! – A box?
– You got a box? – Yeah!
– A box, a box. – [Jared] Maybe a box with a fox in socks. Nice work. – Puppies. – And a dinosaur! – And another!
– Another dinosaur? – What, they’re, they’re animals. They’re animals! – [Calvin] They’re a bunch of animals! – [Jackson] Those are
ten hundred and fifty– – [Jared] Wait a second. – You have a dog!
– Yeah, it’s. – [Jared] Roar. – Whoa!
– Roar! Hello, my name is the Dragon Monster. And I want to let you
know that the presents that you just opened are all puppets! They’re all puppets! – [Ellie and Jared] Whoa! – He’s comin’ at me.
– Look at that! – He’s coming, he’s gonna
kiss me, isn’t he? – Ahhhh!
– is he gonna kiss me? – Ohhh!
– Oh, he’s a nice dragon.

That’s good. Calvin, it looks like
all of those are puppets. Our boys have been
asking to do puppet shows for the longest time. Can you believe Santa
Claus brought you puppets? So you can do puppet shows? – Roar!
– Ahhhh! – [Jared] (chuckling) He’s seriously like the most gentle baby, or kid, ever. Caw, caw, caw, I’m an
eagle and I’m not sure that’s the sound I make,
but I’m gonna do it because this is not
an accurate representation of this bird, caw. – Roar!
– Ah! – Calvin, this looks like the
owl that was in our garage. – Yeah.
– Ah, it does! – Bomp, bomp, bomp, bomp, bom, bom. Is the puppy dog, is that a puppet too? Put your hand in there.
– What’s? – It’s your puppy. – I see four more presents, so
boys, why don’t you bring me those four presents, and then
we’ll open our last presents. – I’m gonna open this one (paper tearing).

Yeah, I got a robot guy. I got a robot guy. – What? (paper tearing) Rock’em Sock’em Robots.
– I got Legos. – [Jared] And you got
Legos, just for Calvin? – Yeah, those Legos.
– Cool. I got the prize!
– Nice, and what’d Tommy, oh. Tommy got, look, Calvin, Tommy got a matching
baby just like you did. – [Jackson] Holy cow, I got a, – Is that for Tommy?
– I got a fighting set I got a fight–
– Look, he loves the wrapping.

– [Jared] A fight set? – Yeah!
– Nice. Calvin, maybe this can
help you teach Tommy how to be a good big
brother, to his baby doll. Pretty cool, huh? – Where’s my present? This one opens. – Okay. – [Jared] Look at him, just
sitting up like that (chuckles). – Look, look, Tommy. – [Jared] You got your baby, oh. – [Jackson] He’s got his binky. – [Jared] He’s got the baby’ binky. – He took it out of his mouth. (laughing) (paper rustling) – [Ellie] I have a disclaimer, well, after you look at it (chuckling). – Oh, Ellie. Design for the month. That’s amazing. Look how beautiful this is, whoa! Look at that, ah. – [Ellie] Okay, I didn’t
open up the blade, that looks wicked cool (laughing). – That looks amazing. – [Ellie] I didn’t know if I
could close it, that’s cool. – I don’t know if I want to use it, it’s so polished and beautiful.

That’s amazing, thank you, Ellie. – [Ellie] You’re welcome. And this is my disclaimer. You don’t have to use
it, I just thought maybe once in a blue moon it’s nice
when we’re out and about, but, if you don’t love it, – Oh my gosh,
– You don’t have to have it. – Oh my gosh.
– Are you rolling your eyes? A little?
(Jared laughing) – Did Kevin put you up to this? (laughing) – [Ellie] Okay, this is my disclaimer.

Every time we go somewhere, it’s like we have our DSLR and our lenses, even if you think you don’t use
it, it’s just nice to have– – Oh, for sure. – [Ellie] When we’re going out and about, when my purse is full of baby stuff, so. – Well, yeah, your purse
is full of baby stuff. I’m always carrying your
stuff in my pockets. – [Ellie] Yeah. – So this is Ellie’s
purse for Jared (laughing) – [Ellie] Yeah, and I just
thought it would be fun because it came from–.

– Europe, yeah
– Yeah, so. – Ellie, this is cool,
I like the color a lot. – Is it fine if I have Santa’s cookie? – [Ellie] Uh, yes. – Thank you, Ellie. – [Ellie] That was my disclaimer for it. But I knew that this would be cool. – I was, what’s the disclaimer for this, this is cool. – [Ellie] Yeah, I thought
that was beautiful. – [Calvin] Are you eating
all of Santa’s cookies? – [Jackson] It’s not if as
he’s gonna be here tonight. – [Jared] You can open that one. – Is there a disclaimer to it? – [Jared] There is a
disclaimer with this one, okay. You’ve been working for such a long time on your photo project, – Yes. – [Jared] And I had
one of your books made. – You can see her fur. (Jared laughing) – I made one book.
– What book?

– [Jared] Because this is the family book. Because I wanted to make
sure you liked it, this– – Before you printed all of them – [Jared] Before I printed all of them. – Oooo, look at our family. I just love these. – [Jared] Look at Calvin on the horse. – Oh my gosh, that was only
six months ago, look at that. – [Jared] How sweet, time flies. – That new brother stage is so hard. – [Jared] Yeah. – Look at Calvin there, oh my gosh. I’m loving this. – [Jackson] Dad, watch, Daddy. – Thank you.
– You’re welcome. Merry Christmas. Oh my goodness gracious. I forgot your stocking. I have a stocking for you Ellie. Hmm mmm hmmm, la tah teee, la tah tah, la tah toh, lat tah tah, oops! Will you boys go hand this to Mom? – Yes. – I’m busy looking at
how cute my babies are. – [Jared] Well you’re
gonna want to be busy at looking at what’s inside this stocking. – What, Rollo!
– Rollo! – I love Rollos, I love caramel. Oh, we all get gum, there’s a lot in here.

(inhales) Jare! Jared, did you just go
hang out at Sephora? – [Jared] Hm hm, hm hm (giggling). – Jared, why are you so cute,
did Bonnie put you up to this? – [Jared] Nope. – How did you know I was
wanting to try Thrive? – [Jackson] There’s Tommy. – [Jared] I did
see a video of Bonnie’s, where she’s tried Thrive, but
she did not put me up to that. – Oh, Jared, you’re so sweet. – I couldn’t find a chocolate orange, so I got you chocolate and an orange. It is so cute. – [Jared] Merry Christmas,
Merry Christmas. – Seriously, what the heck,
I’ve been wanting to try this, setting powder.
(children talking) – [Jared] Yeah, and I also got you your Laura Mercier setting powder, okay? – I’ve got the cutest
husband in the world. – Whooooooo! – I’ve got the cutest husband.
– That’s okay (laughing).

– No, there’s a box over there. – [Jared] There’s a box,
bring that box over here. – [Jackson] Oh, what’s that? – [Jared] Oh my goodness. That is a slingshot so that
we can launch snowballs. – [Ellie] Merry Christmas. – Why is this some 700 pounds, my legs are crushing
beneath me, (laughing) I can’t hold on any longer. Seriously, what’s in here? – [Ellie] I think this
is more for me than you, but, Merry Christmas.

– (chuckling) Isn’t that the
best, when you can get a gift for someone, and you both get it? – [Ellie] It’s like for
both of our benefits. – Oh get, yes, yes! – [Ellie] So Jared got me
a Wüsthof cutting block with knives, four years ago, and– – We have lots of holes that
need to be filled with knives. – [Ellie] So that’s the
last of the steak knives, and you have been making me steak a lot. – Oh, the best steak ever,
which makes me believe. – [Ellie] Wonder. – (clanking) Whoa, Jiminy. – [Ellie] Jiminey Christmas. – Whoa! Look at that. It’s a 12-inch! – [Ellie] It’s beveled
out, it’s made in Oregon, look at the cool handles.
– The handle’s amazing. (metal clanking) That’s got a lid to it.
– Isn’t that rad? – That’s so cool, there’s not
another one in here, is there? Is there? – [Ellie] Well open it up.

So, like I said, it’s kinda for me, because you’ve been making
dinner, and it’s been amazing. And I am sure we could have
gotten away with one, but– – Oh, it’s a pan. – [Ellie] But he kinda
talked me into this too. (laughing) I’m a good client, what can I say? – Whoa, look at this. – [Ellie] He said this
was better for steaks. – Ah, man, it looks pretty sweet. – [Ellie] Yeah, I have no idea,
so, there you go (laughing). – This is great.
– Isn’t it beautiful? – It is beautiful, and the
work on it is amazing. Thank you, honey, love you.
– Love you. – Ellie, these are awesome,
thank you, we lucked out. – [Ellie] I know! – We didn’t even get the same one. – [Ellie] Aren’t they so soft? – I hope they’re the right size.

– [Ellie] Nine. – [Jackson] Um, Dad,
can you please fix this? – [Calvin] I got that part the right way. – They’re even the right
size (sniffs) whoa! – Merry Christmas.
– Merry Christmas. Is this, do I get one more? (Ellie laughing) I have one more. – Yeah.
– Okay. (Ellie laughing) – [Ellie] I got him an air
purifier for his office. – ‘Cause it stinks, ’cause I’m stinky. – So I have–
– This is very light. – [Ellie] Yeah. – Oh! – [Ellie] So of now,
there’s your frunk trunk, is that the trunk? – Yeah, this has gotta be the frunk, model three. Is this the Tesla brand ones?
– Yeah. – Wow, Ellie, thank you.
– But the rest are coming. I think (laughing).
– The, uh– – I couldn’t remember what you had, I thought you had the S, or whatever, so I went to your Instagram
to see your hashtag of what model you had. – Is that all, is that all of them? – [Ellie] Yeah, now we’re done. – [Jared] No, there’s one more.

– Tommy’s taking a nap,
kids are happy playing. – Okay, let’s go to the bedroom. – [Ellie] What? – Yeah, I did wrap it
myself, can you tell? – [Ellie] I can. – I wanted to come into the bedroom because I wanted you
to be distraction-free when you opened this gift. – Okay.
– Okay. When you get to a certain
point, I want you to stop, ’cause I want to talk about it. (gentle music) – Don’t look at that.
– Yeah, don’t look at that. – So do you want me to stop, you can– – [Jared] No, you can open this. – It’s like, fragile. Oh, it’s a little box
inside of the big box. – [Jared] (chuckling)
And in that box, I’ll put a little box, and then (chuckling). – You fooled me, mister. – I wanted to get you something that represented all of us. – Okay, oh my, the box is
gettin’ small (laughing) – [Jared] And I put that
box inside a smaller box. – I’m so happy.
(laughing) – (gasping) There’s a line in it! Are you kidding me? Uhhh, I just, I just gotta like to think for a minute (giggling) there’s a line in it.

Did you have those made?
– I did. – Aw, you turd, I don’t wanna, like, break ’em. Are you kidding me? Did you design them?
– Mm mm. – They’re perfect! Are you kidding me? Look at the diamonds on the edges! – [Jared] So, what it is, is
there’s three stones on top. And those three stones
are the kids’ birthstones. And then down the sides are – Our.
– Our birthstones. – Jared, I’m just like taking this in. – [Jared] You can wear one by yourself, or you can stack ’em, all three, as they fit together perfectly. – I have never seen
Mother’s Rings like this. And I love the shape of ’em. Oh my gosh, are you kidding me? (inhales) are you kidding me? Jared! – Do you like it? – Those are the most
beautiful rings, I love them. – Do you like it?
– I’m in love.

I love that they like to work
together, and mesh together, like look at those. – [Jared] Like, you mean,
like a family (chuckling). – Was that so fun, tell me. – [Jared] Well, I went to the guy and I told him exactly what I wanted. And we went over a few different designs, and we kinda changed things.
– Did you sketch ’em up? – He did like, like 3D
modeling and stuff, so. Yeah, it was pretty fun. – Jared, that is so beautiful. Holy cow, I’m just gonna stare at these. I’ve got my ruby, got my
emerald, and I got my moonstone. – [Jared] Merry Christmas. – I love that they’re
like on half of each side. That’s so thoughtful, that’s
like totally what I’ve wanted.

– [Jared] Do you love it is the question. – Oh, have I not said thank you yet? (Jared chuckling) Thank you, I love it, it’s beautiful! I appreciate it. – [Jared] We’ll get it
sized up a little bit. – It’s thoughtful, it’s what I’ve wanted. I just can’t even, I can’t stand how cute
they are together, they fit. Thank you so much.
– You’re welcome. – I just love it! – Well, this is the aftermath
of our Christmas morning. We had so much fun together, didn’t we?

We have the whole rest of the
day to do whatever we want. What should we do first? – Play basketball.
– Play basketball. We’re gonna go set up the basketball hoop. And guess what, I challenge you. I challenge you to a
basketball competition. Can you do it? – I just can’t, I can’t. – [Jared] You can’t stop staring at it? – Gonna show you guys one more thing. – [Jackson] I love my shoes. – [Jared] Good. – So Jared was telling
me about his conversation getting ’em made, and
what I love about these is that I can wear them separately, and look how dainty they are. (boys talking) – [Jared] That looks very
pretty, all by itself too. – [Ellie] Oh yeah.

– [Jared] And that was
like one of my big things. – This is perfect.
(boys talking) Like I’ll wear this for a week, then I’ll wear this for a week, and like I’m gonna switch
it up all the time. Thank you so much.
– Merry Christmas, I love you. – I love you. – [Cody Via Phone] We got,
I got a bow and arrow. – Whoa.
– A real one. – Well, I’m– – [Cody] Can you please come and get this? – And guess what I got, Cody?
– What? – I got a metal yo-yo.
– Wow! – You have binoculars?
– The same as you.

And the same case. – It’s ringing. – [Cody] Here, I’m gonna
find Lincoln very fast. – [Ellie] They got a
flippin’ gumball machine. – [Cody] Justin wants to talk to you. – We’re gonna have to find some quarters. – [Boy Via Phone] Look at Ellie’s card. – Quarters. – Lincoln! I got a marble run for Christmas. – [Ellie] What did you get Lincoln? – [Lincoln] I got a
hockey kit and underwear. – Whoa, what? – [Olivia] Yeah. The boys, in their stockings,
put underwear in them.

(Ellie laughing) – Lincoln, that’s cool. – [Boy] It’s there with your boys. – [Ellie] Cool, well Olivia,
I’ll call you back later. – [Olivia] Okay. – ‘Kay, bye.
– Love you! – Love you. – [Olivia] Say hi to Uncle Jared for me. – I will, bye-bye.
– Bye. – I’m already sick of
eating tons of goodies. I can feel a sugar headache coming on. So I have some avocado, some
bell peppers, ham, and eggs, that I am bringing down for me, Jared, and I’m sure the boys will
take a bite here and there, but they are too focused on all of their little goodies that they got. Merry Christmas! – [Jared] Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas!
– Merry Christmas! Okay, I have these for you Jared, – [Jared] Thank you. – And this for me. Calvin, do you want some bites? – [Jared] Do you see any
progress from the last time you were in here? – [Ellie] Yeah, this looks amazing. – That’s my dinner. – That’s your dinner, the cinnamon roll? – [Calvin] Yeah. – See, I’m over the sugar. – After what seemed like
hours and hours of assembling, we are finally ready to, – [Jackson] Play basketball! – [Jared] Play basketball.

(exciting electronic music) Ready, oh, it’s countin’ down! Go for it! There we go. – [Jackson] Oh! – [Jared] There we go, there we go, oh, I made one for you on accident. Oh, shoot. – Oh Dad!
– Nice! You’re doin’ it buddy, you’re doin’ great! Is this fun? – Yeah.
– Do you love it? – Yeah.
– Good. Whew! Now it’s time to set a record. (timer sounding) Oh-oh, oh-oh mom’s involved. When mom’s involved you
know there’s trouble. – [Ellie] I think aiming for
that little white square helps. – [Jared] The backboard (laughing). (Tommy gurgling)
Yeah! Do you guys love this? – [Jackson] I love it. – [Jared] Good, I’m so glad. You look like a good ol’
basketball player Jackson. You look like you’re ready to slam dunk. – [Ellie] Whoa, mine hit
it and it bounced off. – [Jared] Maybe shoot a three, maybe do some spin moves
in between the legs. – Mommy got me one. – [Jared] Oh, it’s close, it’s 11 to 13. Good job guys! – [Ellie] Good game. – I’m gonna go again.

(Jared laughing) – [Ellie] There’s guitar, and there’s key, or goat, or apple, what goes with guitar. – [Toy] That’s not right. You got it! – [Ellie] See, goat and
guitar are both G’s, huh? What starts with the TV, a tuh, T. – T, tee vee. – [Ellie] Is it a tiger? – Let’s see. – [Toy] Rrrrrright! – It is! Well, I think that between all these cards, – [Toy] Way to go! – [Ellie] This is gonna be fun for Calvin. – It says, way to go!
– Yeah. For Calvin to learn more of his ABCs. – [Jared] Whoa, basketball
star, and acrobat. – [Grandpa] Okay, get that started. – I think this basketball
hoop is the hit of the day. Grandpa drove all this way
just to play you in basketball. Go! Oh, nice shot Jackson! (upbeat music) Coming up hot! He’s getting better and better
every time he plays this.

Good job, buddy. – [Jared] Did I do okay Mom? – You did, you did good. (Jared laughing) – I hate to confess, but I do too. – [Jared] What do you
think Linda, did I do okay? – Yeah. – [Jared] Good, did you guys have fun at Bonnie’s and Joel’s? – Wonderful time, had a great time. – Good, I’m so glad to hear it. – Ellie, did you know
that Jared texted me, and showed me some of the coats? – Oh, no. – Oh, yeah. – Awesome.
– Mm mm. – You got good help picking it out. – I did, but Grandpa
helped me with the ring. Just like he said, right? – No way, no. – [Jared] Oh my goodness gracious, more visitors to the Mecham household. – Yay! – [Jared] Merry Christmas. – [Grandpa] Merry Christmas. – Merry Christmas.
– Merry Christmas. Thanks for coming by. – [Jackson] Dad, look
what we got for a present, that’s a Lego set. – [Jared] What did Grandma and Grandpa get you that for Christmas? – [Jackson] Yes. – [Jared] That’s so perfect! – [Jackson] Do it, right here! – I can’t get over it, she made this? (laughing) – [Jared] Oh, good helper.

– Grandma made this. – [Jared] That’s amazing. You got all the wood. – And my circular saw. (laughing) – Seriously, Grandma Mecham’s wood machine. – Let’s open it! – [Jared] Wow, okay, is there something? – [Grandma] Okay now, underneath. – [Jared] This way Calvin, like this. – [Jackson] It looks grassy! – [Grandma] That’s
right, that one’s yours. – [Jared] Wow! – And there’s yours there.
– I got a present! – [Jared] Can you open
it and see what’s inside? – What! – [Jared] Oh my goodness gracious. – Whoo doo doo doo, thank you. (laughing) – What’s this do? – [Jared] That’s so fun, thank
you guys, that’s so sweet.

– [Grandma] There’s an extra one. – [Jared] One here too. – You can put, some
of your Legos in here. – [Jackson] Thank you. – You’re welcome.
– You’re welcome. – Do you wanna know
what this reminds me of? When I was maybe just a
little bit older than Jackson, I remember Santa Claus
brought me a Lego table, and the legs would unscrew, and you could put the Legos inside of it. – Right. – [Jared] How fun. How cool is that, guys? – Is there more now? – [Jared] Well, you guys
were so kind to give this to our kids, that I think
it’s time that we give you your Christmas gifts. – Okay.
– Would you like that? – Yes. – [Jared] Okay, momsie.

You get two.
– Okay. – Poppsie, you get just one.
– Perfect. – Okay, on your mark, get set, go. – I can’t open it, my
nails are not opening this. – I can help you.
– Can you help me open it up? (laughing) – What is it?
– What is it? – What is it? – It’s Hourglass, is it Blush make-up? – [Ellie] Yeah. – [Jared] Mm mm, it’s
one of Ellie’s favorites. – Thank you! – It looks so fancy! What is this? – It’s for you. – [Jared] This is a
portable recording station. – Yes. – So when mom says, Craig,
you’re being too loud, I need to concentrate, and you’re playing your music too loud, and you’re like, well, Tammy,
I’m recording my music. You’re gonna need to go
somewhere else, now you can. (Grandma laughing). – Wow! – Ohh, thank you, that’s beautiful! – [Ellie] You can make it into a press. – [Jared] Yeah, it’s a custom Yeti cup. – Yeah. – [Jackson] Pretty cool, huh? – Isn’t it beautiful, I’d love to keep it. (laughing) – [Jackson] And I kinda
wanted to keep that too, so.

– Yeah, I bet.
– Merry Christmas guys. – Well, thank you.
– Thank you. – [Jackson] You’re so welcome. – Thank you so much. – The time has come for us to say goodbye to Christmas Day, but that doesn’t mean that the fun is going away. We’re gonna sleep under the
Christmas Tree one more night. And we’re gonna have so much fun tomorrow.

But speaking of fun, what
was your favorite part about the whole day today? – Basketball hoop. – [Jared] Getting your basketball hoop. Calvin, what was your favorite part about the whole day today? – Um, my hedgehog, and
the hedgehog’s home. – [Jared] Oh fun. – And the hedgehog home, you
carried around everywhere. – [Jared] Yes, Ellie, what
was your favorite part about the whole day? – The whole day?
– Mm mm. – I think it was fun
walking around the house, checking on all the kids, and Tommy playing with his
doll and Penny on her bed, Jackson and his toys, and I
caught Calvin in his room a lot playing with legos today.
– Yep.

All very fun. I think my favorite part was very similar, just seeing the kids
play, and especially Penny. Penny knew right where her new bed was, and that was the sweetest thing ever. Guys, this was our Christmas Special. Can you believe Christmas has come? – Yes!
– So much fun. – You guys slept so well,
you were good boys all year. I hope you guys know that I
love you very, very, very much. And we had such a fun
day today, didn’t we? – Yeah.
– Yep. And with that, we are
going to say good night. Merry Christmas to you,
Merry Christmas boys. – Merry Christmas! – We’ll see you guys next time. – Bye.
– Bye. – Merry Christmas! – Merry Christmas. – Merry Christmas, Merry
Christmas, Merry Christmas, bye!.
