This Woman’s Son Just Posted These Photos Online… Because What She Did Is So Worth Seeing.

A reddit user uploaded these amazing pictures of a medieval chess set created by his mother that got a lot of people buzzing. Once you see these pictures you’ll understand why. That thing is huge, and the attention to detail is simply exquisite. All in all the project took her around 6 months to complete and it’s currently sitting in her basement waiting for a gallery. Each piece is hollow, and as such are lighter than they look. The tallest king is around 6″.

Here she is with her creation, a gigantic medieval chess set.

Each piece has a story behind it, for example the black queen was based off a waitress the family had serving them one night. She waited for the waitress to go on break so she could take her picture. Apparently she had just the right look.
