The Ultimate Nurses Gift Guide|| A Christmas List for Nurses and Nursing Students

my channel it’s the girl we should be in today’s video I’ll be
giving you guys a list of gifts well I know if somebody gave me these gifts I
would love them forever so if you’re looking for gift ideas for your nurse and Friends your
nurses students your co-workers anybody keep on watching so the first gift I have on my list is
planners now everybody knows that when you’re in nursing school you have to have a planner you have
to have a plan you have to know your dates your schedules your time everything so if you do have a
a friend who’s in school planners will be their best friend also if you know someone who has an iPad
and they are um they take notes electronically buying them uh electronic planner also would
work just as great and trust me they will love you for life so another gift that we would love to
receive our stethoscopes we love stethoscopes we get the basic lip in one in school but when you
buy the fancy custom ones are like pink or blue or purple and it has their names on it that is so
cute so think about um a good website I know Etsy has some, and Amazon has some get a custom-made scope
and we will have we will love you forever. The number one reason why is that a lot of study Scopes in
the workforce gets lost and mixed up and sometimes Believe It or Not doctors do borrow nurses at a
school they don’t return it another great gift that um we would love to receive is a compression
socks we are on our feet 16 hours out of the 24-hour day our feet will get swollen so
buying compression socks is great it will help the blood flow it’ll help our feet from hurting
and swelling and we will love you forever I know I’m gonna say that for everyone because we will
love you because all these gifts I’m telling you guys are amazing so these next two gifts that I
I’m gonna put them together they are new scrubs and scrubs caps okay who doesn’t
love a new scrub like honestly when I wear new scrubs I feel like I’m the boss I feel like I know
exactly what I’m doing I came to work to work okay I didn’t come to La Liga so buying us new scrubs

that clip onto our lanyards will work the best for us if you give us a whole bunch of
Pens Honestly that’ll be like the greatest gift so pens for short now this gift is more on the pricey
side so I will say buy this gift if your spouse is a nurse but think of getting them
an Apple Watch or even an Android watch or a smartwatch it’s amazing as nurses we can’t be on
our phones all the time so having your notifications on our watches it’s amazing and it also helps
we keep a fit cold quote by counting better steps um and also nowadays they um measure our
heart rate and our oxygen so that is great for nurses we always are on this like
Health tip especially when we work we want to try to get a certain amount of steps so I’m
not smartwatch with us it’s amazing and we love so this next gift goes well with compression socks
and they are nursing shoes for some they throw fashion out the window and go for comfort and
I honestly understand why I have Asics shoes and they are amazing they’re comfortable they work for
me for 12 hours so thinking about shoes that have more Comfort than the style I think will be a lot of
the nurse’s preference but find nurses shoes and buy them okay they will help with your
your feet ache your back it will help you be more efficient at work because your feet won’t hurt
and it’ll kill your scrubs too so take a look for nurse issues these next two gifts are
hilarious because we have them but we don’t use them and these next two gifts are
tumblers and water bottles the running joke for nurses is we will go to work with a full water
bottle and work with a full water bottle so definitely think of getting a water bottle or
Tumblers are cute, especially having the ones with the nursery quotes on them or like I’m a
badass nurse stuff like that will be such a great gift it’ll look really cute and we would just like
walk around with it knowing that we have something even the motivational bottles
will have like the time on it water those are great too because it forces
us to drink it because we want to reach that certain Milestone on the water bottle so
tumblers and water bottles are two great gifts along with gift mugs okay we love mugs
I don’t know what it is about mugs but having that mug filled with your favorite drink coffee
or tea it’s just so soothing it’s self-care it’s comforting we want it so definitely buys us much we
love that craft I don’t know why but we just love it so these next two gifts go hand in hand with it
is a lanyard or a key train and a retractable bad reel if you are buying us a key tray make sure
it’s a quick release because some of us work in mental Wards and our patients love to grab on
stuff especially when it’s not theirs and it’s on us they love to grab on it so if you have a quick
release that one is for safety purposes and the mechanism will help it just release quickly that
way we don’t get hurt and the lanyard is so much more convenient when we have our badge on it we
can just pull on it sometimes hospitals give us this but it’s like born and basic there are a
a lot of cute ones especially if you work in Cardiology or peas or NICU they have a lot of cute
ones on Etsy um on Amazon and a whole lot of places I’ll see if you just type it in on Google
you’ll see a whole plethora of places that sell them try and get us some of those we
love them they’re cute they match our scrubs and we just feel accomplished with this next gift that’s
good for us is um like a DIY topic so if you have any Nursery friends or nurses DIY
sanitary bags are really like cute for us if you want to put mini sanitizers in their lotion
for sure because you always wash your hands 24 7 our hands get dry and it’s a good lotion
okay if I like the cheap Dollar Store lotion or the cheap lotions it’s like the good ones are
really good pods is really good [Music] um yours your skin I think it’s called is really good
as well so those types of mini lotions are good um masks if you make us a little
DIY sanitary pack it’ll be so cute and we’ll love it because again we’re always sanitizing our heads
we’re always washing our hands and our hands are always dry The Next Step that I think will really
benefit nurses and narcissus as well as blue light glasses we are always in front of a
computer if you’re a nurse at school you know that you’re in front of a computer literally
24 7.
The only time you’re not in front of a screen or a computer is when we’re asleep okay
and we sleep for like four hours so buying the blue light glasses will help save the health of
your eyes it will help minimize my base and it’ll help you focus a little bit more if you guys are

something that works none of that fancy um non like one zipper pocket type bag
no, we want something that is multi-pocketed um I had a lot of compartments I have a lot
of space and I can hold all of our stuff we have stethoscopes we have clinical stuff we have
scrubs we have pens we have everything in there so we want to make sure that that bag is durable
is big enough it’s fashionable as well and I know that Amazon has a lot um Target if you’re in the
States because I’m in Canada so we’re not sorry we don’t have Target but Target has a lot of
bags I know Burlington Coat Factory has bags it goes back to my self-care robes candles lotions
and a spa or massage gift card we’re all for it especially if you work 12-hour shifts
in a row we need to relax we need to wind down need to think about things that are
not nursing so again those little things will help it’ll help rejuvenate our bodies
Our Minds our souls our spirits and we can come back to work feeling refreshed and ready to
conquer another 12-hour shift so anything that’s related to self-care will be great for us
also some nice slippers as well they as comfy our feet hurt we want to step into something nice
and warm and just be comfortable and relaxed this popular gift is a coffee maker or like
a Keurig or an espresso those are amazing because again we nurses or nurse students
are coffee drinkers or tea drinkers so they definitely could make both coffee and tea
and having that in the morning before I shift is part of our is us it’s part of our
daily routine at this point so getting us a coffee maker or a tea maker will help it will
be very much appreciated and it does have to be a big one it could be a small mini one I know
Walmart has small ones for like 50 bucks or if you want to go all big and get the
whole with the spouts and the actual coffee mug you could do that as well but honestly a little
one would be just fine so this gift is more so for nurses students if you’re to buy them an NCLEX
prep book or even a nursing guidebook from everyone sells them they’re not hard to come by
that will be the ultimate gift for them because again they are a little bit pricey and a lot of
times nurses school students are not working so the money is very limited so buy them a guide buy
them a prep book those bees or Kaplan books will be such a great gift for them because again it
shows that you are appreciative of what they’re doing it shows that you want to be all you want to
put into their education put into their learning and they’ll be so appreciative because again they
don’t have to pay for it it’s an expensive buy and it’s something that they need and
lastly, if all else fails gift cards you cannot go wrong with gift cards you guys have gift cards from
The Body Shop gift card from Bed Bath and Beyond um better uh what’s that all called life and
Body Works Sephora is anywhere that they like to shop for gift cards you cannot go wrong with a gift
cards you’re giving them the money essentially to buy whatever they want because if you just
don’t have a clue gift cards are the way to go that is it guys that is all the gifts I could
think about that will be great for us nurses or even nursing students as well so if you have a
