is right so you guys have heard me talk about this on several occasions on plenty plenty of times so stay tuned for that because that is where we’re going to be starting off but let me say what’s up people you know there’s people that get mad about the things that I say some people are like ah you know I agree with you somewhat and then there’s some people like nah I agree with you completely so going to happen with your emotions your emotions are going to add up along with it and it’s only going to be rougher so that’s why yeah I can’t bro as much as I would love to to make you feel good I putting out some great articles shout out to them and shout out to them for today’s video because that’s that’s uh you know the reason why I’m talking about the harsh realities of buying well modern comic books I sort of like what they listed so they sort of helped me out with my homework here on this you guys have heard me talk about the you know just modern comic books and how they’re gamble nowadays in today’s day and age it’s not you know it’s not that that investment that people sort of look for we’re also going to be touching upon spawn 306 because that seems to be like the new Hot Topic right now I know my man Red Hood shout out to him he sent me something he was like bro this this is not looking good it’s not looking right So for anybody who doesn’t know about that stay tuned we’re going to talk about that as well uh let’s see who else we got um let me see aggressively relaxing he said I’m already mad what’s up hey man if you mad you’re gonna end up being happy later down the road so that’s that’s all it is 1K six not my stuff yo listen so let’s start right off the bat with this guys and of course shout out to cbr.com because cpr.com were the ones that actually dropped this article right here if you guys did not get a chance to read this we’re gonna go over what they say they’re 10 harsh realities of buying modern comic books so according to them they wrote a list I I sort of liked what I saw there’s some things I did not agree with but there is a majority of it that I did like of this in reference to Modern comic books so here to start off at number 10 guys we got the push for digital Comics we have been talking about this for quite some time now here on the channel about digital comics and how they have been training us for quite some time guys they have been embedding us into us to to learn how to appreciate and accept digital Comics this was the inevitable so according to CBR they say there’s a massive push to move toward digital Comics right now yes that is a fact that is a fact for people that do not see that hey man I don’t know what to tell you it’s cheaper for publishing companies you guys have heard me say this more environmentally friendly and easier for distribution again it’s all about money if it’s all gonna add up guys you know that that is what they want to do they want any that goes with any company they want a pocket as much money as possible so this of course great start off right here to this list that CBR put together there are benefits to sticking the digital but there are also many drawbacks for starters friends prefer being able to hold the physical copy of the comment they love in their hands I’m like that I love it have I started to get used to to doing the digital yeah I have I’m not gonna lie with you I was not a fan of it but I started to get used to it because it is a lot easier for me to go on you know on a digital comic website type in the comic that I want to look up for and voila it’s there done instead of me going through all of this right here that yes some of it is organized and maybe 30 of it and then the rest of it seventy percent of it is is a hot mess with every publisher you could think of so it is hard as hell for me to go in there and try to do my research so it is a lot easier to go down the digital route so going on from there they say what’s more digital comic book copies can be lost forever whereas there’s more certainty with a physical copy and I 100 agree with that I honestly think that yes physical copies can remain with you unless your mom told you hey you need to clean up that basement whatever your dad and next thing you know your account book collection is gone and that that might be the only way something might get trashed uh but nonetheless the the path to digital is moving ahead companies like Marvel have begun investing in digital exclusive Comics which essentially forced consumers to sign up for the Marvel unlimited app so that they don’t miss anything some of the best Indie comics of all time are lost through digital platforms as they are not prioritized above big companies so on that note 100 freaking percent agree now going on to number nine guys they said that good digital comic platforms are rare and as you guys want to know comixology which is pretty much the most the massive company uh and got bought out by Amazon that that thing sort of fell apart the way that they started organizing their their you know their media on there as far as digital Comics it went ass backwards I don’t know what the hell happened as far as that but good digital comic platforms are rare yeah there is a new digital platform I keep forgetting the name of it but they’re already up set up and everything to go and it looks like they’re doing and they’re being organized a lot better than what comixology started to go down so what the readers wish to use Comics to get a better grasp of another language love the medium or just obsessed with specific characters and worlds digital platforms do provide an easier route of access for people across the world the harsh reality is though that Publishers are failing to find sustainable digital routes to Market so again we go back to the you know to to the easiness of being able to get comic books the you know the the easiness of anybody around the world because even in the United States I hear a lot of you guys out there who will say hey bro the closest LCS to me is like 50 miles away that that is a hell of a drive I would not be able to do that every Wednesday I I already you know I’m already having a fit when I have to drive like maybe five miles and I’m like damn I don’t even want to do that so that that’s something to you know to also keep in mind uh Marvel and DC uh have uh used their own apps for users to download which gives them access to their whole catalog from over the years but with the decline of comixology no other platform has uh really risen to take its place yet it might be the future but right now I can’t quite maintain its footing as a point of change in the industry so another another little great uh pointer on the list right there and we move on to number eight which is graphic novels are slow to release so they’re talking about graphic novels being slow to release that is a freaking truth that is a truth unfortunately it does it feels like it takes an eternity for this stuff to drop so many readers prefer buying their comics in bulk essentially rather than waiting for each single release to come out fans wait a little longer and get a graphic novel yeah there’s people that are out there that are like that ever rather get the you know get the whole thing than to just keep waiting waiting waiting there’s some comic books like ultimate Invasion for example right now which I’m sort of on the fence somebody asked me earlier hey what do you think about ultimate Invasion it’s it’s Jonathan Hickman Jonathan Hickman always off to a slow start that that’s the way he just does his work his writing it’s always been something that that just resonates with him to be honest with you and for me to wait damn near I felt like yeah pretty much a month before the next issue came out that that’s a pain in the ass um and you guys remember also the uh the Watchman event that came out through DC how long did that damn thing take it was almost two years in order to complete so it’s like hey it’s it’s taking quite some damn time and they’re really to be honest with you right now as far as graphic novels graphic novels are not being prioritized they’re not being prioritized that that is something that is is being seen across if I go to an LCS I’ll ask him hey do you had a graphic novel to this and to be like no they haven’t even done anything there’s nothing being mentioned via Diamond there’s nothing be uh being mentioned uh via penguin random house so on and so forth so a lot of this stuff yeah it’s taking a long ass time so the these are some of the you know so some of the the Nays with buying modern comic books nowadays you’re not seeing how back in the days you know if you were you know in the 80s collecting you were in the 90s collecting graphic novels or dropping like one after the other after the other it’s a complete different story now so going on from that number seven Marvel and DC dominate the industry that yeah I think everybody everybody and anybody out there would know this the big two this is why I call them the big two the big two forever and ever have have just held on to the Reigns of comic books so as much as you would love to see the Indie comic book company come out on top it just does not happen they might have a couple of bangers here and there where they might make more sales than a Superman book or a Thor book or whatever the case but in the long run this is what happens there are so many Fantastic Indie Comics out there that subvert expectations and take the Raiders on a stunning narrative Journey but those Indie Comics are often left behind because two companies dominate the industry Marvel in DC will get the majority of the focus on major platforms although comic book stores are trying to push readers toward alternative companies it’s fair to say that the industry isn’t in the place that it once was Dark Horse image boom Studios For example were major competitors during some periods of course we all know boom Studios boom Studios came out with a massive massive storyline called something is killing the children and for those that collect you already know what time it is with that book so there’s still hope that the industry will evolve again as more people discover smaller creators and perhaps digital platforms like webtoon will make a genuine difference for now unfortunately DC and Marvel are still the top dogs despite the healthiness of diversification and yo big shout out to everybody still joining in here on the live EPT Cyclone think that physical Comics will become a hot commodity because you will no longer be receiving them and the only way you will see digital medium being printed out is when they go the graphic novel route if they find some sort of success here’s the thing with this on the digital end of things if they’re not successful you’re not losing a lot versus printed material if you go and print do all these things they’re losing a ton of money how much money are they really generating from Comic Book Sales we got to look into that as well I mean if you look at how much you know a retailer gets you know percentage off from there there you know as far as cost for them buying these comics in order for them to sell it to the public yeah you’re looking at a 50 discount so out of that 50 you got to go into you know this is one of the major reasons why you see a lot of these comic companies like Marvel and DC pushing these high ratio incentives pushing out these high ratio variants and one in one thousands one in five thousands going crazy that’s the reason why because they want to push out as much as they can in order for them to see their gains just pretty much going up and as long as their capital gains are up there they’re perfectly fine but for them it’ll be cheaper to go down the digital route and make sure that yeah there’s going to be absolutely no losses for them if a digital comic book is something that’s creating a stir around the common Community what’s gonna happen happen they’re just gonna take it and say hey let’s go ahead and we are going to put a graphic novel out for this so graphic novels eventually will be another thing for a lot of people that might think that like hey you know like like all these grading platforms such as cgc cbcs they won’t have nothing to grade no absolutely not we’ve talked about Manga Here on the channel I think that that’s going to be the next wave and then of course you’re going to start seeing graphic novels being like the next big thing because that is going to be the only physical format for Modern Age Comics that is going to be available um I Don’t Like Comics what’s going on my brother said hey muchacho que basa what’s going on nice to see you bro Canada here for you say hi to 75 I think 75 is in the chat man shout out to you aggressively relaxed and said this is the yeah digital takes over this is it I know I said that last year but listen it’s happening for real now hey why is everyone walking away very well said man very well said I have nothing to disagree with you on this because I’ve been saying this for the past two years now just by looking and just pretty much gauging how everything is going it’s not going to be an overnight turn it’s it never was meant to be they’re gonna try to pretty much push out everything they possibly can for right now in order to make that transition once the transition is made then it’s a wrap after that uh Theory said any word on digital nft covers how they doing they’re not doing too well not doing too well people still buying them in hopes that the nft market starts to go up again who knows it’s this is a crazy world this is a crazy world look look at sports cards look at comic books you guys remember comic books in the 90s comic books in the 90s were like so we’re sports cards and then look look at all this I mean I mean you remember when you could get Pokemon cards you would pay 10 bucks for like a Charizard Hollow and now look at that damn thing it’s like a million dollars so who knows people are probably relying on the fact that hey this could eventually turn into something I’d rather buy it on the low than to be paying thousands or even millions of dollars later down the road so you never know because remember this too everything is always running off of computers your phones so on and so forth everything is digital so to purchase an nft in my personal opinion wouldn’t hurt you if you’re getting it for the right price and then possibly just holding on to it for future purposes you never know oh again these are old gambles I cannot call them Investments Hawaiian punch in the building and say yo why is people wearing knockoff shoes something to choke on Vienna sausages bars pause oh man Hawaiian punch in the building I don’t know why people were knocking Hey listen man I got I got my knock off uh Yeezy flip-flops that’s what I call them but them things are comfortable as hell yo I got them off that app Teemo those are probably the best things my wife bought me the most comfortable damn things that probably cost two dollars and I don’t care pop sequentialism in the building said while the overhead course of digital Comics are inherently less The Profit protection is non-existent very freaking true very true shout out to my man the 75 percenter right there pop sequentialism AKA Matt Kennedy shout out to him Caesar Castillo in the building said yo there’s nothing like some savagery to finish my overtime at work that’s what’s up man I’m glad I can help Kenny the common collected with the millions of physical Comics out there being able to buy trade back issues will continue people will continue to want physical Comics uh copies as much as possible you can’t lose access exactly and this is the reason why I said you look at a lot of these brick and mortars who have recently started up a lot of these brick and mortars are fading away the only major survivors are pretty much the stores that have been around for quite some time and the ones that have a major major back issue uh just just freaking a crap tone of it available to their customers those are the ones that are going to survive that is the biggest thing but here’s the other bad side to this we’ve all seen as of lately you got whatnot you got all these you know drip shop live you got all these different platforms eBay live so on and so for everybody has become a retailer so the chances to be honest with you this is some this is another reason why you will probably see a lot of these shops fading away and everything will become online is because of that everybody has become a retailer so in order for you to even have product you gotta find somebody that’s willing to sell their collections right but if everybody’s becoming a retailer and they’re saying like hey I’m making some profit I’m making some good money off of this you will not see that it’s the same thing with the hunt ever since key collected Comics I don’t knock the app it has many great values to it but at the same time has caused a shitstorm when they call it when it comes to key comic books there’s I mean there’s modern day keys right now there’s Keys freaking every single week but one of the biggest things with it that came along was yes when you go on the hunt for things things are like rarely existing ask anybody in New York City and I will guarantee you don’t ever in your life go to New York City to hunt for anything because there’s absolutely nothing for you to hunt for that’s how tough it is in New York trust me I go there that’s where I’ve you know born raised everything I’ve lived there my whole damn life and every time that I go back and I go to Just hunt for anything that is absolutely nothing it is dry and anybody out there in New York man that lets that tells me otherwise yo kudos to you then you might have might have found a hot spot or you found some dude at a flea market somewhere out there and you were freaking got lucky and was like okay this person’s selling that’s the only time I’ve ever found comic books like for me on Steinway Street in Astoria Queens you go out there sometimes you got you get lucky I’ve gotten lucky with whether there’s a dude that’s like hey I’m just selling comic books I don’t want them I’ve had them for years and they they’re just out there set up a table able and start selling and that’s where I bought from but as far as anything else it is a freaking impossibility and the same thing is is uh gonna happen with brick and mortar shops brick and mortar shops are just dropping they just keep dropping and unfortunately uh the latest one that I just recently saw and I hate seeing this for anybody because these are livelihoods for a lot of people was uh I just recently saw a post from hive Comics uh have comic stages recently said they’re shutting their doors down and I was just like damn couldn’t believe it uh sad news you know I’m sorry to hear that for them but at the same time it’s like you start to see it’s not just them I see a lot of other shops some shops that you don’t get recognition because you don’t see them that often or you don’t hear about them being promoted and things like that those are shops that yeah they’ve closed the doors down they’ve closed their doors down like the one you know like Royal collectibles in the story of Queens man shout out to them people small little shop was mad dope but guess what people weren’t doing people had pull boxes and people weren’t coming in and picking up this stuff because once again what happens people start getting into the whatnot thing people start getting into everything everybody’s like oh my God they go crazy they love it they love that interaction with somebody selling them something live and that’s one of the reasons why those platforms are becoming big and more retailers you’re finding that are creating themselves on their own the worse it’s getting for any shops out there to be able to find anything because nobody has anything anymore there’s nothing to bring to the table so it’s gonna be a definite big fight it’s going to be freaking a doggy dog world when it comes to comic books as time progresses because ain’t nobody gonna have that freaking Surplus like some of these major stores out there this is why sometimes you see Midtown Comics Mile High even though I freaking can’t stand them got the freaking huge collection they’re still charging out the ass so many of these major retailers right they’re surviving because they’re huge they have freaking Surplus and surplus and they just keep taking over like I know Midtown Comics ended up buying a shop out in Brooklyn I think it was and took up all their stuff so look at it just look at it that way if you’re a mega store when it comes to comic books you’re more than likely to survive versus the smallest shops which in all honesty I wouldn’t even turn out to be a brick and mortar I’d rather just be an online shop so it just all depends on that but yes all this stuff is definitely definitely just yeah it’s it’s killing people it’s killing people as much as you want to see people be successful in it I I just don’t see the success in it I I see it dwindling bit by bit uh Kingdom nerds in the building man make sure to subscribe to this man’s channel right there my man Bruce Kingdom of nerds brand new channel go and check them out got some good content on there shout out to him uh pop sequentialism said if all those graphic novels were being produced as manga sized books they’d be exactly and this is the crap that boggles my mind I ask myself I ask myself and I even said it last time look at something that I picked up so you know that they are on the radar DC and Marvel they’re already getting into the manga end of things because they see how Dynamic manga is becoming um so I 100 agree and I don’t understand how the hell Dark Horse produces only one percent of manga and it is literally 66 percent of the sales which for me is like bro go and get yourself some other rights to to you know to some other you know uh animes or whatever and I stop freaking pumping out that manga Um Kingdom of nurse said the problem with Andy’s it can take months for the next issue to come and that too man and it seeming to be something very common nowadays with a lot of modern comic books we got my man Sinister Titan what’s up listening while at work yo I appreciate it my brother we got my man Vinnie Whitlock got Kirby Carpenter in the building what is going on Kirby good to see you Manny the comment collected my man he’s in the building uh Carlo said I think there’s gonna be a Shonen Jump type thing for con yes yes yes yes you are definitely gonna see they’re dipping their toes in manga then they’re not going to be stupid man uh g-o-g-05 in the building said first time I’m seeing the name I’m digging this though got Squirt on there with the sunglasses said manga is super big in the U.S I work shows at Fan Expo and Anime is the biggest thing there is rarely see anyone cosplay DC or yo facts facts facts facts the latest Anime Expo people were complaining how packed that thing was that you couldn’t even walk and there were so many people that it was so damn hot even when I was watching the videos of these anime cons uh anime Expos you seeing people with books Fanning themselves with you know with the programs for the Anime Expo because that is how hot it gets in there with all those human beings in there and you never know you might have some aliens or some some lizard people in there you don’t you just don’t know that but all the jokes aside William Medina in the building said uh why would comic stores order trades on books that was digital since they had never had the physical to sell that is a bigger risk on them especially if the story sucks and yeah dude that’s true but here’s the biggest thing are these comic book shops gonna exist again this is where these big major companies these big stores are gonna take over and this is where you’re going to start seeing remember books a million books a million stop dabbling in comic books and now they got back into it again so it just goes to show you they might be preparing themselves for something that we don’t know the people that are outside of the industry the folks that are on the Insiders especially these bigger companies they start to figure out like Hey we’re going digital so expect like graphic novels this is me hypothetically speaking folks for right now but in all honesty for myself I honestly I’m starting to see this trend going and this is one of the reasons why I Believe Books A Million started to get back into comedy they had that damn uh spawn Batman book that had come out they hadn’t uh and that book was selling and when people started to find out that they were selling the dambo did so to be honest with you yeah this this is to be you know in all honesty this is just going to be the demise of the of the smaller businesses I I hate saying this and because it’s like you want to have the best you know look out in the future you know the future look out should I say and to to sit here for me I I hate seeing that man like I said the latest one I just saw was Hive Comics you know shout out to them that they keep their heads up and keep doing what they need to do but yeah it sucks it sucks to see people losing their businesses because of something I don’t know I’m not going to talk about half Comics because I honestly don’t know what’s going on behind closed doors with them and as to why they had to shut down but yeah you know things things business is not going the same and comic book sales are not great folks might all sit out there and be like oh no it’s it’s still going it’s no it’s not if you see it in one shop and it’s being dynamic as whatever that’s like me going to Midtown Comics and seeing a [ __ ] ton of people at Midtown buying comic books and I’m gonna think in my mind oh my God but then go to your other shops out there go and see I’ll talk to the shop owners I’ll say hey I was you know how’s your sales on comic books and a lot of these guys just look like like they just giving up a lot of them are like man it’s like man it’s bad look look at my shelves my shelves are full people ask for these things some people don’t even come in to get them this is one of the reasons why I don’t pre-order books because I don’t want to get into that pre-order habit if the comics Bookshop has it I’ll pick it up if they don’t I’m honestly I’m not going to sit there and cry about it or get upset might there be something that I’ll pre-order yeah there’s been times where I’ll pre-order something on eBay and be like [ __ ] it even though I hate that whole pre-order [ __ ] but I just go on there I’m like yo this [ __ ] looks dope I’m digging the cover and you know when I read the summary on it and it has something where they say hey this might involve a new character I’ll pick it up I’m like whatever I’d rather pick cover price and then it becomes something crazy same thing happened when Black Panther 3 came out not even shops new that’s something was going to happen I just happen to be smart enough to say you know what let me pick up three freaking copies that’s all I picked up of the a cover and then I called it a day and and that was it and and then look what happened it turned out to be one of this major thing same thing with the you know I really can’t say the same same thing with Spider-Man you know with spider boy because dance slot was announcing Spider-Boy so that thing was ordered out the ass so it doesn’t fall under the same tier to be honest with you as that uh let me keep going through here comics and culture event Hollywood tea don’t hurt them your Jordan collection yo let me tell you man I I don’t even know uh sneakers sneakers is like on the same boat I have my Jordans but not everything I I don’t like every Jordan that comes out that’s why I say you had the hype beasts out there pushing out the ugliest damn sneakers on Earth and people just going out there and buying them same thing happens in Comics comic books everybody gets that oh my God that’s gonna be the greatest thing ever and then everybody in the mother’s going after it and boom voila next thing you know you start up a new hype so that that’s how it is with uh sneakers uh Kingdom nurse says stores that keep pushing exclusives aren’t going to survive the store exclusive is going to have a lot of cash yo I’m gonna I’m gonna be 100 on board with you bro nah you know that store exclusive stuff is dying it is dying and I think it’s affecting a lot of people it is affecting a lot of people um again the ones that that are affected the most are the ones with brick and mortars the ones that that sort of like probably might be losing some money are the ones that are you know that are online online retailers but for the most part on yes that exclusive crap is is going down the drain quickly and you’re starting to see again I just talked about it not too long ago you’re starting to find again shout out shout out to Wayne Stark who hit me up and he oh by the way for anybody that doesn’t know you guys can go on fivebelow.com I guess I don’t know what five below’s uh website is but if you go on Five Below you can actually find the comic packs with that have convention exclusives inside these damn comic packs for DC you could buy them online so shout out to win stalk man Wayne Stark has been hitting me with a lot of a lot of info so I appreciate you my brother um geogo said the day my LCS closes is gonna be a Sad Dog Day man yo listen it’s awful yo I don’t even like to hear even if it’s a store that I don’t like I I don’t want to hear it for anybody because I know in the end these folks got families these folks got screen has a massive impact so this is something that I don’t freaking agree with at all I this has forever bothered me to see that anything playing on a big screen seems to impact the movement on comic books I think again the you know just the comic itself the superhero itself The Nostalgia all that stuff should be the selling points it shouldn’t have to fall upon what a movie comes out and for example you end up seeing this Trio right here and now everybody’s going crazy buying the comic books up because they’re like oh my God they came out in this movie and now all of a sudden prices start going up everybody starts going insane because everybody wants to freaking get their hands on them and then what happens months later after the movie drops so does the damn book there is nothing holding any freaking weight right now whatsoever unless something is related to a movie when the movie comes out everybody goes wild and then boom nothing nothing nothing one of my favorite freaking Inhumans ever yo and yeah even their books right now with they’re not they’re not really selling for for anything great you know it’s it just goes to show you it just goes to show you just how crazy again the screen how crazy the screen has a massive impact in the comic book world and we all know it we all been through it up I’m guilty just as many of you are shouldn’t even say just as men as all of you out there we are all [ __ ] guilty of this [ __ ] we’ve all I got into it with you know with my speculation all that stuff it was fun I enjoyed it we were all wondering now you’re getting all the information about movies being poured out so speculation isn’t really that big of a thing no more um but yeah as far as this yeah you look at all the different projects coming out it definitely definitely is it’s starting to destroy destroy what’s happening with Comics to be honest with you um number five the comics Heyday is over so anyone who has experienced periods of time like the golden and silver ages of comics will know that there are ups and downs in the comic book industry the medium has gone through some absolute highs and some real lows but for buyers it’s clear that it’s no longer the Heyday for Comics perhaps there will come a time when Comics more popular getting fueled by long-term cinematic saturation which again I freaking can’t stand because it shouldn’t fall upon [ __ ] cinematic saturation uh with the industry shrinking in areas there are fewer opportunities for Indie Publishers to fill in those gaps ultimately there has to be some kind of growth again for competition to arise and for more common companies to get their much needed place in the spotlight fewer eyes on the product results in less interesting content and this is a big thing right because what do I talk about continuously I always talk about freaking writing and Comics writing and Comics is freaking less and less and less interesting every time I open up a damn comic book there is not really except for maybe one or two titles from the big two that is actually freaking something worthwhile and that is even few and far between that you come across because it’s almost like they know themselves like oh the impending Duma comic modern comic books is coming so we don’t have to work as hard we could just put out whatever and call it a day that that’s that’s what it sort of freaking tells me um here number four certain titles overload the comics Market I freaking agree on this all right Batman I love you freaking my favorite superhero hands down but Jesus Christ how many Batman titles are there there’s like a thousand I’m exaggerating I know I’m exaggerating but at the same time there is so many 10 titles Spider-Man Batman Superman freaking um Ghost Rider has most multiple titles right now which is freaking Insanity to me um Avengers you guys name it it’s just like every damn titular hero from DC and Marvel has multiple freaking comic books and it just doesn’t make sense because for me it’s like bro stick to one damn storyline and stick through it and maybe even if you had to then you won’t have to worry about doing tie-ins and all this [ __ ] keep that Universe singular keep it by itself and you might work on something great you might work on something impactful that’s going to resonate with a lot of us out there and you just don’t you just don’t they they continue to put out all this stuff here man so CPR said regardless of the incredible Supernatural epics fantasy hits or beloved all-female superhero teams most popular Niche concepts are pushed out of the way in favor of status quo so this is the part that I did not agree with with freaking CB online cause they were saying most popular Niche concepts are pushed out of the way in favor of that’s [ __ ] on this because all these female superhero teams again are being pushed out like crazy so they can’t even say that it’s not being done it is it’s being put out there just as much um and if they don’t do freaking singular titles pertaining to that Superhero team they actually do all again all these little Side Stories all these tie-ins to go ahead and push that together so yeah this right here I didn’t agree with uh some characters and titles simply get commissioned again and again regardless of the Innovation and the storytelling characters like Batman Spider-Man for example always have multiple titles running at the same time because because those characters sell and again every business where you know that your characters are gonna sell why wouldn’t you do that I mean you are going to do that but for me my biggest thing is these characters are gonna sell regardless so why not just keep it to a single title and you know and still make your money you guys are already raising the amount of what it costs to buy a comic book I mean look at look at Marvel look at DC DC is up at six dollars and Marvel’s already pushing the five starting in October so there you go the uh also the harsh reality is that other books get moved aside just to publish more of the same and then that’s my thing can’t complain about all these Supernatural epics you might be the one and only fan of this stuff and what does that mean what do what do I as a company get out of that absolutely nothing if you’re the only person buying it so what I’m producing all these comic books and you’re the one person that buys it so what am I making I’m losing money so why would you do that [ __ ] period that’s that’s the thing out of that so yeah on that one I was kind of like so number three it says no room for risks so with a shrinking audience a smaller market and two companies dominating the space there isn’t much room for risk taking comic book companies have to keep a hold of their audiences by giving them exactly what they love from Marvel and DC that means more big events and a continuous focus on the same roster characters genuinely ambitious storytelling that changes the status quo isn’t going to be as attractive to Publishers looking to meet their financial targets so they may they actually address that right here so if a concept doesn’t land with audiences it could mean game over first Studio luckily some smaller companies and create our own titles are still able to take risks and that’s where you’re starting to see the level of risk being going up is what these Creator owned they they you know a lot of these creators are just taking over their own IP they’re like the hell with Marvel the hell with DC I’m gonna create my own things I think that that’s the right way to go to be honest with you uh but yeah as far as that ah there you go they filled in the Gap right there talking about yeah they’re not going to meet their financial targets 100 freaking agree with that so but the whole risk thing listen there oh they’re they’re taking risks you see it more on the Indie side of things where they’re taking risks but here’s the problem in today’s day and age and today’s climate you really can’t take risks because here’s what happened with risk you’re risking on offending somebody and this is what companies don’t want to do they don’t want to offend anybody that’s that’s what that’s why you don’t see risk being taken they’re afraid to offend anybody so voila that’s the reason why risks are not being taken in the comic book industry um here’s another one that that sort of killed me right here number two not enough diversity so one of the harsh realities of buying Comics throughout most areas of industry is that there is a genuine lack of diversity in the material companies are beginning to move forward now with plans to ensure that the comics actually reflect their readership what’s perhaps more start for the consumer though is that there is even less diversity within the talent actually created in the comics so here’s my thing if somebody doesn’t have an interest in something why would you want them to come and do something and reference the comic books somebody doesn’t have an interesting Comics period why the [ __ ] would you want them in comic books to what to to write something that pertains to some some say group or whatever no why the hell would I freaking want that that means that person isn’t going to put in all their effort I want people that love doing this stuff I want people to actually freaking have a love for Comics to come out and write a story the biggest problem with this is no that has nothing to do with that that there’s less that there’s a ton of diversity there’s a ton of diversity within freaking creating Comics again there has been so many black and Latino Asian uh you know every walk of freaking life working on comic books so you can’t say that there’s a lack of freaking diversity all this coming from all walks of life writers coming from all walks of life can’t say that it just happens to be do they have that push to set to have something that will resonate with a lot of us again I didn’t fall in love with [ __ ] Batman because that dude is Latino or anything like that no he’s a white guy he’s a white guy are there things that I can relate with yes I can not on the whole billionaire aspects out of things no but there’s other things things that he does that yes you know he is the Vengeance he is the Knight he is Batman I relate with all that stuff because yes you I I’m against that whole Criminal activity and to you know freaking people taking advantage of others that’s how I feel so I relate to him on that part don’t need to be Hispanic for me to make it to make me like you the problem is that it’s like again what are you doing when you’re trying to appease people you might appease one or two people and how are you gonna freaking say well why didn’t my comic book sell in the hundred thousands because you only freaking made it for one or two people so how the hell can you say there’s no diversity when there’s diversity 24 [ __ ] seven this is diversity all over the place all right just because here’s my thing that I have problems with too if you see somebody that is white how do you know that person don’t come from another part of this world how do you know their background what are you just gonna assume that they’re white you know how many white people that they are across every freaking country people that speak Spanish my father for God’s sake because my mom is dark skin and my dad if you were to see my father my father looks like a white guy everybody in the neighborhood used to swear that my father was Italian yeah he was a white guy that’s that’s what it is but that is my biggest thing how do you how you can you can’t sit there and say that there’s no diversity there’s diversity over the damn time because people come from more walks of life that’s the problem the problem is nobody’s put now nobody wants to take the risk because nobody wants to [ __ ] offend nobody that’s the freaking biggest problem so can’t sit here and say this was one of the ones that I did not like from CBR was that there’s not enough diversity [ __ ] the problem is nobody wants to take a [ __ ] a risk on anything because everybody is afraid of cancellation so if you can’t take a risk on something how do you expect there to be more diversity diversity is all about risk you gotta risk take you gotta talk about things you got to share your culture in order for people to freaking know that’s like for me somebody said that I see who’s a white person and they tell me they’re from Argentina what am I going to say oh they’re not they’re not diverse enough listen they’re gonna give you their cultural background they’re going to give you their lingo the way they speak Spanish is completely different than the way I speak Spanish so we can’t sit there and say that the majority of things I mean George Perez Puerto Rican Puerto Rican you look at that and it’s like you can’t say that that hasn’t been they’ve been freaking all walks of life man all walks of life the whole gang over at Milestone why was Milestone not appreciated folks because there was nothing in these Milestone books that people were promoting during that time that was one of the biggest failures from that African part of the part of the uh freaking time in the freaking 90s when all that stuff was coming out Milestone Comics some of the greatest [ __ ] stories I would love to know how many people out there read Milestone comics from back then and I guarantee you even until this day nobody does a lot of people will not go ahead and tell me what I know about a static shock about Hardware about the blood syndicate nobody will be able to tell me because there’s a lot of people that yes it don’t matter if you read or you don’t it shouldn’t even [ __ ] matter because there’s people that collection for the art and then there’s people that be like oh I picked up static shock number one because I just heard they’re gonna make a movie it shouldn’t even [ __ ] matter at that point you pick up your [ __ ] that you want pick up what you like and that’s it plain and simple but at the same time it’s like nobody can say that there’s no diversity people want to complain about it but then at the same time they’ll be like well look X-Men was made because of diverse so how the hell can you say that there’s no damn diversity yo there’s yo it all happens to be too like yo what are these folks into not everybody is into freaking comic books not everybody is into this we are a small percentage when it comes to comic book collecting folks it is not yet we can all sit here and pretend that the whole world reads comic books they don’t they don’t so to go ahead and try to put diversity into these things it also all sits back on the fact that hey are there people from freaking different backgrounds different ethnic backgrounds that love comic books and that are willing to create a superhero you don’t find that that’s the reason why there’s not enough diversity and then the people here’s the thing and then the people that want to create something and create diversity they get backlash because they say oh you’re a white man you can’t speak about my life you can’t speak about things who the [ __ ] is to say that that white man didn’t go to somebody like myself or any of y’all out there ask you about your story ask you about your life and then they go and transition that [ __ ] to comic books that’s the damn biggest problem that’s the biggest freaking problem with that so they can never sit here and say there’s not enough diversity when you don’t even want somebody that’s from a different background or write something about a black character a Latino character an Asian kid your [ __ ] get mad about it so now all of a sudden it was like not enough diverse [ __ ] out of here there’s diversity all the damn time people problem is everybody gets canceled for [ __ ] saying anything or doing something that’s that’s the that’s the biggest [ __ ] issue I’ve seen so many people man the problem is not people getting into these freaking Industries because there’s a lot of people that are being given those chances there’s just people that feel they’re not good enough there’s people that like myself look at me can I come up with something yes but do I have enough confidence in myself to be able to write something that’s where my issue lies and then it also all depends on do I have the time at in my in my own freaking home my home life do I have the time with two little young ones with freaking with a wife with working with doing all these things in order to make sure that my family is financially intact can I go away from that in order to go on my writing on my writing journey I I at this moment I’m gonna be honest with y’all no no so this is this is my thing again there’s going forever be these complaints but for me you look at one of the greatest freaking diverse characters to have ever been creative right now and that is Miles Morales miles [ __ ] Morales and who did he get created by Brian Michael Bendis a white man so we we look at all of this and it’s like come on how the hell can we all sit there and say there’s no diversity problem is how many people from all diverse backgrounds want to actually get into comic books and do something and make a superhero you know what else causes a lot of a lot of this struggle too is families ourselves if my daughters were to grow up and tell me Daddy I want to be a comic book artist Daddy I want to write comic books and me as a parent I’ll start looking at them and be like no you’re not you’re not good enough for that what you think these kids are going to grow up like that’s another major problem you know how many you know how many [ __ ] people you know how many people I’ve seen I’ve known who have told they were drawing and drawing their asses off writing some creative stories in school doing all these things but if you ask them what discouraged them from ever getting to that point it was their own family members their own family that was telling them you shouldn’t do that you’re not gonna get anything out of it that that’s you don’t make money that way you know how many times I listen to people talking to me about my YouTube channel you know what’s the number one thing people ask me about my YouTube channel nobody asked me about yo like how you know why do you love comic books why do you like reading these things well I didn’t know nobody ever asked me that you know what people ask me and I’m not talking about y’all I’m talking about people in my in you know in my in my everyday life people the number one [ __ ] thing everybody asked me is like are you making any money off of this to help sustain your family that’s what I hear every day that’s what I hear but does that discourage me no I’m on a different mental freaking mindset man the only reason again why I don’t freaking write a comic book is yes because I can’t right now I don’t have that time I have to freaking take care of my little ones I have to freaking deal with my wife I have to do a lot of different things right now that will keep me away from them my little ones if they were older maybe I’d be like oh damn because now I know at least they can fend for themselves this is one of the craziest shits that I that I go freaking that I’ll tell you right now um Rami salami [ __ ] it with a name yo pause said possibly the whitest of thank you thank you Brian Michael Bend this man shout out to them shout out to that man because if it wasn’t for him we wouldn’t have no no freaking uh no Miles Morales we wouldn’t have no Miles Morales so this is the thing this is why you don’t see no more diversity if people want to talk about diversity within the industry is that it’s there look at one of the greats right there Jim Lee can’t say that what that’s not part of the diversity that’s yeah that’s that’s that’s freaking one of the the many that are out there there’s just people that we don’t know about because they haven’t made a household name for themselves Jim Lee being one of the biggest can’t we can’t we can’t freaking you know we can’t go ahead and say oh yeah oh yeah Jim Lee is not great he’s nobody there’s people that know Jim Lee left them left and right and that dude has forever forever been in comic books and he’s part of that diverse background biggest thing again is yes we in today’s day and age don’t allow don’t allow absolutely freaking anybody to want to write freaking any accounts of Life on behalf of us but again who does it take who are we going to wait for if nobody wants to do it if I gotta go and tell my life story to somebody to write it for me that’s what I’m gonna do and if it’s a white guy that has to write it for me then it’s so be it because that’s the only way I’m going to be able to share my story but that’s the thing nobody wants that everybody’s gonna see a freaking white name on an ethnic superheroes freaking comic book and everybody’s gonna be in [ __ ] uproar right now that’s why we don’t have that [ __ ] and that’s why for me this [ __ ] for me personally yeah I didn’t agree with this with CBR they do they have it the problem is who how many of us as kids have been discouraged from wanting to do this I’m one of them I’m one of the many I had some of my boys too that went to comic books same thing comic book was spawn and how many people tend to forget that spawn was a black man because he got he got all burned up and everything and you see him hamburger face style and everything all that and that’s it that just goes to show you so they can’t say that there’s no diversity man there’s some great freaking characters but they just don’t freaking you either don’t have a good writer for them or when they do come out with a character it’s like hey look at look at Eric July shout out to Eric July man Isom dope dope ass [ __ ] serious I’ve been enjoying it it’s too dropping take I mean taking a on the comic book side of things again because they’re afraid of risk because they’re afraid of backlash they’re afraid of cancellation all that [ __ ] is what these companies worry about so they start doing all this dumb [ __ ] that yeah it doesn’t really resonate with a lot of us and then they wonder why the [ __ ] comic books are selling like [ __ ] and then they also wonder why mangas are selling through the [ __ ] roof that’s that’s a big [ __ ] thing to take out of this man send it to uh send us the Titan said I’m native and would love to see red wolf or Warpath in the MCU but it would bother me if they all of a sudden made Wolverine native I want to see a full-blown native hero like red wolf and then that’s the biggest thing just trying to appease to everybody and trying to give people what they want for me is to slap in the [ __ ] face I don’t want to see that that whole gender swapping the whole [ __ ] you know uh uh you know ethnicity swapping all that stuff you know race Swap all that can’t I can’t stand it I I [ __ ] again it’s it’s a [ __ ] slap in the face because a lot of them will look at two and they’ll say well you know for me personally I say it’s like yo what what are these diverse characters that you originally came out with they’re not good enough that’s that’s how I look at it they’re not good enough and a lot of these characters are legendary man a legendary I can’t wait for static to come out I can’t wait for freaking the likes of blue Marvel Adam Brashear can’t wait for those freaking characters to come out and make it on the big screen big Marvel DC titles need to allow for smaller titles they do they do don’t get me wrong Louis because you do you need you need to you need to have something new man you need to you need to bring a already been in there Marvel is is coming up now next in October October is when the prices change and everything is going up to five dollars before you know it by next year I would not be surprised if comic books are six bucks for Marvel would not be surprised I’m telling you they they train you for that [ __ ] they’ll come and hit you and be like yeah the reason we’re charging you guys five dollars on this one is because this is card stock DC did the same [ __ ] DC started going there was like yeah this one’s 5.99 because it’s called stock is better paper quality but in all reality if you look at how much it costs for them to manufacture these things it’s [ __ ] Pennies on a dollar so they they’re charging you because they’re trying they want to get you ready for the next price 23 bids on this [ __ ] thing it’s not too many people bidding so you know that there’s not that many people that know about this book I didn’t think that that [ __ ] existed until I saw that one YouTuber this Asian kid that I said and he held up a 9.6 graded copy of it and that dude was like [ __ ] he he was in heaven and I was like damn I was like where the hell did he get that from I thought it was fake so you’re you’re seeing you’re seeing what’s going on here look at this an 8.5 so this book in high grade is going to be a rarity in itself because of the dark ass colors I mean just look at it it’s literally all freaking black with the exception of Spawn and his freaking and and his damn ectoplasm [ __ ] that he has coming out of his hands 8.5 630 dollars six hundred and thirty dollars and it continues this one I remember seeing July 2nd I remember following this one Seventeen hundred and twenty five dollars for a raw copy and this was a real nice copy I looked at it up and down probably looks like a yeah it’s it’s probably a 9 8 candidate 1725 on this so start to see a trend on the damn book July 8th 1236 dollars another raw copy for a book that you couldn’t absolutely find nothing of right so now you’re starting to see them popping up and the biggest question of it all is is there somebody who is sitting specifically one seller that I’ve seen on here sitting on a [ __ ] ton of these and just bit by bit being smart putting them out there and creating a start because if you guys know usually when they do give out these little con exclusives like this at a show they’re usually coming off of a 30 000 print run thirty thousand print run so if there’s 30 000 copies of this book that somebody has their hands on and they’re just like I’m putting them out I’m putting them out I’m putting them out just very sparingly so that freaking you know so that these books come out there and people have them I’m just gonna say this is not a dumb [ __ ] they’re smart they’re smart here’s another one 9.2 9.4 this is being sold by Comics tunes and toys and this is what’s on there this is part again spawn for anybody that played Mortal Kombat you know spawn came out on Mortal Kombat dope ass looking book The only thing I don’t like is that freaking strip at the top world record-breaking comic not a fan of that I don’t know why the hell they added that on there for me kind of throws his damn book off to be honest with you but dope ass dope ass cover with the images spawn in the Mortal Kombat video game so this one right now has one bit on it it’s going to be ending on Friday I’m gonna add this to my watch list I’m gonna watch to see what the hell this ends at so there’s that you also had another listing right here at fifteen hundred dollars at fifteen hundred dollars and one thing that this one specific seller has been doing that they were smart on is what they’ve been doing is they put up some for bids for auction and then when the auction one is up then all of a sudden they put a Buy It Now and they have a Buy It Now up so somebody here by the name of R Hernandez has one as a buy now for fifteen hundred dollars near mint near [ __ ] mint yo fifteen hundred freaking dollars so that bottom portion right there looks like a little rounded corner right there might be like a little ding kind of hard to see I don’t know this uh the images on this freaking thing are kind of smoky but there’s a look at that there’s a little bit of a color robe right there next to the image uh symbol um again there you have it 306 exclusive that’s the netherrealms exclusive again for Mortal Kombat and yeah this book is is [ __ ] selling for some astronomical numbers but the one person that’s selling the damn book is like I said very [ __ ] smart about how they’re doing it so I’m starting to come to a guest that maybe this person might have come across this damn book maybe even came across somebody from the con from Mortal Kombat and they were just like ah [ __ ] it I’ll show you the whole box and voila here we go so here’s another one another Buy It Now spawn 306.

going on with all of this with Bry and everything like that maybe they they’re cool with him I don’t know so they just wrote high and they just said my suggestion is not to work with Marvel to produce exclusive slash products support any of the other publishers this is what they wrote back to me that that’s all they wrote back to me so not only that and you guys can see I’m reading it off my phone because again I if if these folks are okay with me showing who they are I would go on there and I and I’d let y’all know but I’m not doing that because I don’t I don’t have any permission so I don’t want to get myself caught up into any issues there’s some other people that I spoke about too and I’ve asked them if they’ve ever had to sign any ndas or anything like that to do any work this wasn’t just work with the lotto because I wanted to get down to business with this of finding out like hey because to be honest with you I know a lot of people out there to include my boy Tim you guys have seen him he’s done exclusives with Marvel on Plenty of occasions and never once says he told me hey I had to sign an NDA with you know with Marvel in order to do an exclusive so that that’s one thing that started to to Ring the Alarm because um you know at the very beginning of Rye’s video he pretty much started talking about having to sign an NDA for him in order to do this work with the lotto I’ve heard some people say that hey it’s a bunch of BS I can’t truly tell you it is or it’s not uh but there’s people that yeah they’ve had exclusives done so I started to reach out to people there’s more people that I’m reaching out to in reference to uh you know to uh you know to asking them especially people who have done something with the lotto in the past so I’ve been reaching out to them and asking them hey have you guys had this on an NDA with you know with the lotto and Marvel in order to get some gelato artwork on your exclusive so I’m still waiting for a response I don’t know if people want to respond if not it is it is what it is so one of the things that I did learn about variety is that um the reason that book it wasn’t him selling the book he actually put mystery boxes together he ended up getting a certain amount of this comic book this gelato comic book that he claims to say that he had no idea about that he did not know um you know that that comic existed that that piece of artwork was already pre-existing on a foreign comic he had no idea of that so I said that the number one way to find out guys is if he ends up suing freaking delotto because the lotto went and gave them used artwork um and maybe in his contract he was like Hey I want to have new brand new fresh artwork you know what what’s gonna happen with that so as the video was progressing again one of the things that threw me off was the whole NDA things I’ve never heard of this I’ve asked a lot of other people just not that worked with a lot of what I’ve asked a lot of people who said hey I’ve never in my life have I had to sign a [ __ ] NDA to do work with Marvel and things of that nature or anything to to have an exclusive so that right there starts to kind of when I when you start having multiple people saying no that’s not the case with this I have not done that I haven’t had to do this that’s when it starts to become iffy for me I start to say okay that’s what questions start to come I’m not the only one out there that’s asking going around asking questions the other thing was if you guys know like Google has this awesome freaking uh you know a little thingamajig where you can do image searches you can take you know anybody could take Bryce comic and take that image that he has on his book and automatically pop it up and you’ll see it Google will find it for you and I did it came right up first freaking thing on there uh my man Red Hood did it I don’t know if you guys follow Red Hood then red hood you know he went and did that stuff and he found it right away too he he actually posted it on his uh on his page on Instagram so right off the bat I was like okay well he said in his video that he didn’t find he didn’t find this that you know his image in the image search I don’t know maybe he doesn’t know how to use image search people have to learn how to do things so I can’t I can’t blame him for nothing on on that if he doesn’t know how to use it um so the thing that caught me off and that I had to you know that I had to actually freaking go and ask was when he made mention in his video he made a mention of international comics for anybody that doesn’t know who International Comics is go and you know give them a follow on Instagram he’s a good dude his name is Josh she um he uh put out information he was actually the first one that I learned from about that book I had no idea that that book had existed that that cover had it already existed on a freaking Italian exclusive so what threw me off was I remember seeing International comics’s Post and in Bryce video Bry actually makes mention of international comics and he said hey I had no idea and then he goes on to go in full detail on the name on the name of the damn book and International Comics never put the name of the book in his post so I reached out to International comics and I asked him hey bro that at any point that you ask you know did you add you know did um did he ask you or did you uh or did you give him any information as to what the title of the book was because I found it oddly strange that he went up and actually freaking named the book out Cuomo ragno especiale all this you know like a whole damn title so I was like how can you not know about something but then you go on and recite the whole damn freaking name of the book to a t if you didn’t know how to find it or you had no idea of it and international Comics didn’t include it in his post so I found that oddly strange so all these little things these are the things that like for me again like I said I also learned that Bryce Comics did a mystery box and the mystery box literally freaking gave you an opportunity from what I’m hearing at a chance to win an Amazing Fantasy 15 [ __ ] hey who the [ __ ] wouldn’t want that so a lot of people went in I think it was 250 dollars the buy-in on that um On that Day Lotto so on the case of like stirring this book up to going to the prices that it is I wouldn’t I wouldn’t I wouldn’t say that he’s at fault of that because that is pretty much after the fact of what what’s going on it’s the people that got their hands on it and everybody I started to [ __ ] push it but the problem that lies on this was where the Rarity portion of this comes into play so when you start mentioning that this is one of the rarest gelatos mind you there is a rare gelato that I don’t know if anybody has uncovered or not even International Comics made mention of it the rarest gelato is that one of one that’s inside those Italian comic packs for Miles Morales Spider-Man number one and that was an Italian exclusive it came in like this foil I have bought four of them all four that I opened up I didn’t get anything I just got the main cover on it uh in hopes that maybe yes that I would have a chance of getting that one of one that one of one that’s in that damn book that is the rarest one ever that is literally the rarest [ __ ] the lotto there is it’s only one that exists again I don’t know if maybe in Italy somebody might have popped the one open over there maybe somebody over here we don’t know I even asked Josh and he’s like bro I have no idea um but this is this is what what starts to create these things when people starts using that term Rarity and saying this is rare same thing Falls along the lines with this spawn book this spawn book right now yes it’s rare because as of I what I know there’s only 44 copies graded all together from cgc I don’t know how many are through cbcs so the amount just keeps adding up still if it remains under 100 this is one hell of a rare ass book but if the rest of this freaking uh set of books that were meant to be handed out to people at this Expo Mortal Kombat Expo start coming out then yeah that Rarity Factor starts to go down the hole so you guys have seen that Bryce Comics version was going for damn near five thousand dollars it’s pretty [ __ ] insane how much money that that damn thing was going so again I don’t know I don’t blame Bry for causing any of that because that was the aftermarket effect from the people that bought into that and they ended up winning one of those books so they ended up getting that chance and now they selling them and they’re making that money on it but the biggest problem was that claim of it being the rarest Lotto that there is that’s where again I really in a sense can’t vote bro because he might truly not know that that you know that that the lotto that one of one gelato exists so I I can’t blame him on that he might not know of it there’s things I don’t know to be honest with you there’s things that I don’t know but again I try to go into things because I said I was like I want to watch this video I want to see he apologized to everybody he you know um some people told me hey bro you know it’s not you know I’m not sticking up for him but you know he’s and and listen guys I I feel like that’s becoming like a common thing you know when you explain yourself about something and you’re and you’re talking about something because it’s your opinion keep it like that man don’t don’t feel inclined like you have to put in that little extra in there having to say like you know making yourself feel like yo like I’m not trying to stand up for the guy and I’m trying to protect them because in the end who the [ __ ] knows Bryce it’s like cover all your bases do your homework and that’s something that he did apologize for he said that he wants to do better by knowing and better going into things and better understanding you diversify when it comes to you know when it comes to that when it comes to licensing because licensing is another [ __ ] complete different thing uh so I understand him on that part uh Red Hood uh said the lotto sicknesses says 2004 on the book yeah 2004 it was on there and I know that uh that he used it because I am going to use red hood I know he put up a portion of uh of Bryce um uh you know talking about this whole situation with his exclusive and things like that so red hood also said how can you not know that’s older gelato artwork it’s clearly early gelato artwork and again I here’s the biggest thing I don’t know if if he freaking if he um and this is where where uh when my man Red Hood actually did the image search and yeah it comes right the [ __ ] up so again I don’t know do I know 100 of this dude knows how to use image shirt uh search I I can’t tell y’all that but I mean he yeah red hood went on in here and you could you could see it from here he goes and and looks at it and yeah a little more ragno X and yeah this was from 2004 April 1st so April Fools um or 2005 it says on this but yeah his signature on here for uh the lotto if you look on the book itself is from 2004.

it’s from 2004. so he put that on there and again all these little things man it starts to look bad Optics uh Manny Comic Collector said did anyone get that ASM 15? I haven’t seen anyone claiming they got the book and then that’s another question that I wanted to get to was an ASM 15 given now I don’t [ __ ] know again I don’t see that this guy a lot of people that have done business with him have all said yo he’s a great guy to do business with everything is smooth you know whenever you’re doing business with them I don’t think this guy wants to ruin his business again shame on [ __ ] Disney Marvel delotto if they [ __ ] did some [ __ ] like this to you know and because yeah this could be the end of this guy’s business again for me I don’t ever want to see anybody’s [ __ ] demise of their business their brick and mortars whatever I don’t want to see that that’s not for me I’m sure it is this guy probably has a family that he needs to feed but when you look this up like you see a lot of signatures down here you guys are probably not gonna be able to see it on this thing but you see it right there right under there it says 2004.

it says two thousand four on there for the lot of transmission so you you can see yeah that this was owed a lot of Art and again maybe yeah just maybe Marvel Indies and uh and delotto [ __ ] this dude that all falls upon the people that once I started to know a little bit more info on it and how his whole thing worked out his mystery box and the af15 uh giveaway or whatever that yeah that that’s that’s on you but the biggest thing out of all of it is why are people buying it for those prices because it was being named as one of the rarest dellatos out there and that’s what happens with this and that is on bright that is on Broad because that was his claim that was his claim that this is the rarest gelato and that’s where [ __ ] that’s where it hurts you that’s where it hurts you uh pop and this is what international Comics told me so when this is when I start to say like okay well he’s sharing this with you so then that means he found the book he knew of the book and that’s why I started to freaking find it again fishy on his end by the things that he was saying in his video but for me like I say I’m not faulting the man for anything because could he genuinely not have known yet man there’s a lot of [ __ ] I don’t [ __ ] know there’s a lot of [ __ ] that I don’t know so I can’t sit here and be like think myself highly or higher than others when I’m not uh pop sequentialism says I kind of don’t get the big deal so many exclusives reused previously published start yeah but the biggest thing out of all of it too is is again the claims that’s what [ __ ] this up is the claim of the Rarity of this gelato when you come out and make that claim and say this is the rarest gelato that’s where the [ __ ] where everybody is like [ __ ] because you think of it yourselves guys if for myself I could speak on my own accord that if I spent five thousand dollars on this bright Comics exclusive and you’re telling me that this is the the rarest the lotto there is then right off the bat I’m gonna be I’m gonna be [ __ ] salty man because I’ll be like I paid five thousand [ __ ] dollars on this and it’s also shame on me for deciding to pay five thousand but for me I’m paying five thousand dollars because I have the mentality of like yo this is [ __ ] rare this is rare there’s only 20 copies 20 copies of that book because remember what he did he did 500 total there’s 480 that are trade dress and then 20 that are straight up Virgin and that’s where that whole Rarity Factor came out and that’s where that [ __ ] was that’s where it [ __ ] up Daniel H what’s going on said it was marketed as new exclusive artwork and thank you Daniel H for your input that’s another thing marketing you Market that [ __ ] claiming it being rare claiming it being new exclusive artwork and then you don’t know until now like you know International Comics came out and said yo this was used already and now you come out with that man I mean I’m telling you that [ __ ] just doesn’t look good doesn’t look good it looks [ __ ] horrible now and that’s what’s causing that freaking massive those massive sales on that damn book it’s the same thing for me I can go on eBay be that buyer and all of a sudden now this is all coming out into light right I can go back to eBay and say Hey listen they made claims the listing was that this was the rarest gelato book and now I’m coming to find out that this that this isn’t this was something that was already done there’s a hard there’s the there’s a regular you know there’s a regular freaking comic book with this with the same art and then there’s the hardcover that also came out with the same [ __ ] art on it it came out a while back with literally all the lotto’s artwork so that’s that’s the [ __ ] that’s [ __ ] that that’s [ __ ] this whole scenario up right here and pop said I can totally see a busy audience getting lazy and recycling old art if given the opportunity as crappy as that is yeah it’s not it’s not the greatest thing it’s not [ __ ] me because people be like ah you’re hating it’s it’s no it’s not the greatest gelato this is [ __ ] way far superior than a lot of [ __ ] that’s out there that’s like [ __ ] damn like you want to own that uh fro brother said wasn’t the artwork used on a hardcover book or something yes um isn’t this the first time it’s on a no there’s also the regular Panini comic book that had it on there too from what I’m seeing and now here’s the other crazy part about this now that book which was going for like five euros I believe on eBay now that book is [ __ ] selling for like fifty dollars for 50 [ __ ] dollars so not only did this cause that but this also caused Mass hysteria among collectors who now are like well I want the original real real [ __ ] and now yeah the book [ __ ] five euros is going for [ __ ] fifty dollars here now so that that just goes to show you hand in hand how this [ __ ] sort of starting to become and even on that end of things you who’s to say now that people went in there and were like oh I know about this let me go buy up a [ __ ] ton of these and [ __ ] get them bring them boom sell them and that’s it sell them on eBay people do that [ __ ] all the damn time people do that [ __ ] all the damn time so that could be also happening now and now you got another [ __ ] thing going on with that and for me it’s in all honesty with the way that art is I wouldn’t be I I really want to [ __ ] paying 50 trust me that is way far superior [ __ ] a lot of work than compared to that [ __ ] like that that’s that’s what I’m saying my man I’m from dating the building said interesting that the big YouTubers in the comic Community are constantly surrounded by some type of scam knowingly or unknowingly and then that’s another thing so not only does it fall on this man and the previous things that have happened with him but it all goes all together with all the big YouTubers so all the big YouTubers one way or another like I’m from data saying are surrounded by some type of scam and when that happens this guy’s got 17 000 followers if I’m not no you know something like that I think it was 17K and um 17 000 followers you know for a lot of people that’s not a lot that isn’t a lot I’m I’m miniscule man I still look at myself like that but even then though I know I’m meant for greater things and I’m [ __ ] I love what I do you know at the same time you look at that and it’s like compared to a lot of other YouTubers out there yeah like 17 000 is like a kick in the bucket for a lot of people but when it comes to comic books that’s a lot and for him to have that yeah he’s tied along the lines with the other folks too who were up there with freaking you know with uh followers and when these guys get caught up in these things this is usually what happens they come out something happens wrong then you try to save face then something else comes out you do something new in business and boom again same [ __ ] thing and how long till people start saying like bro years ago this happened and you did this and the year after that this happened and you did this and now you come out and you do this and this happens with this something’s not right it’s not the math isn’t adding up and that’s what people are going to go off of this is why I say bad Optics will forever [ __ ] haunt you especially when it comes to the world of social media YouTube all that stuff but for me like I said respectfully I spoke I spoke about this because a lot of people ask me and they said bro is there something going on with this is this you know is there something you know something fishy happening with all this crap that you know with the sales of this book and again the light was shined on it again thanks to International Comics because International Comics was the one that had the information I mean a lot of us can go back you can go look at a lot of people’s exclusives this is something that might be trending now you go and take other people’s exclusives and run it run it through the image search on Google and see if this freaking piece of art on somebody else’s exclusive already existed that could be a new trend it’s the same thing like with this whole AI [ __ ] how many things are out there that I’m like yo this [ __ ] could be AI could it be or could it not you just [ __ ] can’t tell even if you’ve run it through these programs at 100 like it’s not 100 accurate I don’t think they Anyway said it’s a business at the end of the day yeah got JLS comics in the building what’s going on thing is just like yo I hope hopefully he learns he learns that you know that you know a lot of this stuff is something that he has to be careful with when he expresses Rarity and things like that ten thousand there’s only twenty so on and so forth um Binky said it’s still hilarious to me everyone blames bride what he’s doing is no different than any other exclusive out there I don’t hear anyone trying to set Trinity on fire for this 600 print count stuff dude and this yo and it’s not even just that the reason why I’m talking about Bry is because people are asking me about it what do I and whatnot the [ __ ] that I see absolutely everywhere it’s [ __ ] it’s astronomical to me what the [ __ ] happens again I don’t blame him for what’s going on on the secondary Market as far as the book because that’s not on him it’s the people that won the books from him from his mystery boxes and they all went and sold all of them so if they’re selling them then that means guess what he’s not at full for that you know that’s something that I said right off the bat again there’s a lot of stuff that this guy’s not at fault at if he didn’t genuinely know the only thing that I question is that whole NBA thing that whole nd8 like I had to sign an NDA to get something through Marvel and the lotto I’ve asked a lot of people out there who have done exclusives from Marvel and not a single one of them said I have not had to sign an NBA asking people right now who have worked and gotten stuff done with delotto to see what the responses are did you have to sign a [ __ ] NDA you’ve never heard anybody have to sign a [ __ ] NDA in reference to this this is this is [ __ ] uh you know this is something that 100 I can go ahead and say that yeah we don’t know exactly what the [ __ ] happened if
