Rapper Snoop Dogg, née Calvin Broadus, revived his “No Guns Allowed” campaign at a fundraiser Thursday with a little help from MC Hammer, Joe Montana, Diana Nyad and others.

It certainly was an eclectic group, in that it managed to include a rapper with a record of multiple arrests for possessing a firearm. Michelle Malkin has the lengthy rap sheet at her site, including these highlights:

  • 2006 – Arrested in October at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, California in possession of marijuana and a firearm.
  • 2006 – Arrested in November for possession of marijuana and a firearm after performing on The Tonight Show.
