Legendary radio personality Hal Jackson has passed away today at the age of 98. He is widely known as the first African-American radio sports announcer and the first to ever host a jazz show.

Very sad.. we just lost another legend who helped 'pioneer' NY radio .. #RIP Hal Jackson .
