Hillary Clinton joins union rally in front of Trump hotel
Culinary Workers Union Local 226 had organized a protest in front of a Trump hotel in Las Vegas Monday night, with participants anxiously awaiting a special guest as they demanded the right to unionize.
“Some people think Mr. Trump is entertaining. But I don’t think it’s entertaining when somebody insults immigrants, insults women. That is just unacceptable behavior,” The Huffington Post’s Amanda Terkel reports Clinton as saying. “When we’re here together in solidarity to organize, we also want to send a message to Mr. Trump: That if you’re going to run for president, then you should represent all the people of the United States, and that includes hard-working people.”
Clinton apparently left her Scooby van at home in favor of a private jet, while nearby, a #Bernie2016 Tesla was making the rounds.
Though he didn’t attend the protest, we know that Bill Clinton is in town as well. Well, that’s what the reporters say, although we haven’t seen any photos.
Is that what they call it?
Will the cameras cut to a beaming Bill applauding his wife at the debate? A spokesperson says no.
