High court fines Dera chief Rs 20,000 for delaying trial – Times of India
Coming down heavily on Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, the controversial head of Sirsa-based Dera Sacha Sauda and an accused in a rape case, the Punjab and Haryana high court imposed an “exemplary cost” of Rs 20,000 on him on Friday for his deliberate attempts to delay the trial against him.
