‘Friendship Commander’ tweets veiled threat at conservatives, Chick-fil-A patrons

In addition to being a drummer for k.d. lang, Jerry Roe is apparently a member of a music group called — cough — the Friendship Commanders. Unfortunately for him, though, the only thing he’s commanding is loser-dom.

Poor guy just can’t handle Chick-fil-A appreciation. Maybe he should make a video about it.

Gee, Jerry. It’s not very friendly of you to threaten those with whom you disagree. And it wasn’t too friendly of k.d. lang to retweet the veiled threat.

Do tell: how exactly is life going to get really hard for us? You’re against suppressing civil rights, but what about conservatives’ right to free speech? What about consumers’ rights to eat where they choose? Do the Friendship Commanders boast crickets on lead vocals? Because all we hear is “chirp, chirp, chirp!”

Prior to his threatening tweet, Roe retweeted this message about #ChickFilHATE from the Human Rights Campaign, “the largest civil rights organization working to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans.”

We don't appreciate #ChickfilHATE. RT if you agree w/ @HRC! http://t.co/VsJw4TH1

Supposedly, clicking on the link takes you to an article describing Chick-fil-A’s “extensive history of discriminating against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals.” If you should happen to find evidence of Chick-fil-A’s bigotry, please let us know, as we’re coming up empty.
