Climax – Life & Breath – [original STEREO]

The Group “Climax” Was Formed Around 1970 In California And Consisted Of A Variety Of Different Members Including Walter Nims, Marc Gordon, Larry Cox, Johnny Stevenson And Sonny Geraci. You’ll Remember Sonny Geraci’s Distinctive Voice As The Lead Singer Of Cleveland Ohio’s “Outsider’s” Who Had A Smash Hit In The Mid 60’s Called “Time Won’t Let Me”. Each Member Played A Significant Role…..Marc Gordon Owned The Record Label The Group Recorded On, Walter Nims Was A Song Writer And Wrote The Bands #3 Hit Called “Precious And Few”, Larry Cox Was The Producer And Is Responsible For The Lush String And Horn Arrangements, Johnny Stevenson Played Keyboards And Sonny Geraci Delivered The Superb Lead Vocals. Due To The Lack Of Strong Marketing, The Bands Success Began To Diminish Soon After The Quick Climb To Stardom With 1972’s “Precious And Few”. Here Is The Group’s Second Single Called “Life And Breath”. It Peaked At #52 On The Billboard “Hot 100” In The Spring Of 1972. The Horns And Strings In This Song Are Incredible.
