Due To Heavy Rotation Airplay In 1987 & 1988 By “Ohio’s Super Station” 93.7 WQIO In Mount Vernon, Ohio And Additional Airplay In 1989 By Scott Shannon On “Pirate Radio” In Los Angeles, “Into The Night” Became In Demand Again On Top 40 Radio. The Original 1980 Version Was Re-Released By Polydor Records And Became A Hit For The Second Time…..Reaching All The Way To #20 On Billboard’s “Hot 100 Chart”. Due To This New Popularity, Benny Quickly Entered The Studio And Re-Recorded This Version For Release In 1989 By Curb Records.
