Dems remove God from party platform; Dick Durbin lashes out at Bret Baier

The party platform just adopted by the Democrats in Charlotte, N.C., omits all references to “God” — a first for the party, which mentioned God once in its 2008 platform (in the phrase “God-given potential”) — nor is Jerusalem mentioned.
When questioned by Fox News’ Bret Baier about the omissions, Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin unleashed a little hellfire of his own, accusing Fox of calling the Dems “godless” and “harping on a trifle.”
