Impeachment? MSNBC’s 6 p.m. news lead is not like the others

It’s safe to say it’s not a slow news day. And while it’s not unusual for network evening newscasts to kick off with the same lead story, cable news is a different animal. For MSNBC, the lead story of the week is the GOP’s calls for the impeachment of President Obama. That’s right; the other cable networks tried to bury the seismic news that the Republicans are hell-bent on impeaching Obama.
